AI amnesty is back in Washington and it could block states from protecting families, workers, and kids from emerging AI risks. Voting NO on AI amnesty = Opposing federal preemption of state AI laws. AI is moving fast. We need guardrails at every level, not Washington acting alone. More protection. Not less. 🤖⚖️

If the Second Amendment does not apply to this exact kind of moment, what do people think it is for? A citizen can lawfully carry, see masked federal agents beating someone in public, move toward the scene to help, and then get erased with a hail of bullets because “he had a gun.” That excuse is an insult in a country where possession is legal by design, where the whole point is that the public never becomes a disarmed audience watching state power operate with impunity. I’m not interested in arguing frame-by-frame footage. I’m interested in the principle that a free people cannot accept a standard where lawful carry becomes a death sentence the second authority feels threatened. If that is the standard, then the 2nd Amendment has been reduced to a vibe. The founders did not write it so Republicans could do militia cosplay on weekends.

It’s not the haunted houses we should fear, it’s the houses that never get built. 🏠 This Halloween, the scariest thing isn't ghosts or goblins — it's exclusionary zoning, NIMBYism, and housing policy that makes it illegal to build walkable, affordable communities. 🧟‍♀️

@HelenSharpeVA This is a weird thing to post in a year where she isn’t running for office. Why would you make a post like this about someone you don’t know and has nothing to do with the current election cycle? I encourage you to take this down and go touch grass, girl.

@maggiemoda As a new wife myself, I love all the Gottman books and methods. Also love their app “Gottman Card Deck” of questions to keep dating your spouse and learning about each other.

Do the normal, well adjusted women of twitter have any recommended reading on how to be a good wife? I’m going to be new on the job next year and could use some guidance.

I know we're having fun, but imagine how much MORE fun it would be to live in a functioning democracy where two fragile billionaires crashing out didn't impact, say, rural hospital closures.

Politics flows downstream from culture, and culture is increasingly online. The media has always played a huge role in what legislation passes & what doesn't. But increasingly, we ARE the media. If you want to actually get good stuff done this year, come work for me!

We have done absolutely everything out of order with this marriage due to my aversion to wedding culture in general and how busy we’ve both been professionally. But 7 months post marriage, we finally got around to an “engagement” shoot - shot by my dear friend and business partner @Rachel_Adams_99 - and I could not be more obsessed with these shots. The best part is we broke permitting laws and had to sweet talk security in order to get them last minute while in Richmond this weekend.

The election is *finally* over and now the real work begins. Politics don't run your life, but public policy does. And one of the best ways to impact it is through the media. As legislative sessions launch across the country in January, the time to get involved is now! Applications to join my influencer network are now open. If you want to get in the ring, get stuff done, and get paid apply here today! athens-media.com/pages/copy-of-…

It is odd when people who run around screaming "own the libs" or who drink out of LIBERAL TEARS mugs are then like 😭😭 my family members are cutting me off because of my politics. Or when they're like politics shouldn't determine your friendships! In those cases, your friends and family aren't cutting you off because you merely voted differently than them, they're cutting you off because you're an asshole?
