Making some great progress with the spoon lifter. Needs some improvement, including a cool name. Any ideas? #rehabilitation #accessibility #3Dprinting #Independence

#SCCR clients have a range of abilities that may involve a loss or lack of upper limb function making meal times difficult. #Independence at meal time is a goal for many. Our #rehab #engineer @RachelleBernier is developing an affordable solution. @EmmaC_OT @KristaM_OT

A long overdue request from @Marla_ot - a simple switch activation counter. Up to three switches that can control digital outputs, or a mouse (left click, up/down, left/right). Every time a switch is hit, it counts! No more manual talley counting! #rehabilitation #accessibility

@jakemcivor @Xbox @XboxCanada @arduino None of the button references in the Arduino joystick library activate the triggers. You can work around that by mapping the view button for example to be one of the triggers directly on the XAC.

Loving the Ultimarc Flight Stick! Works like a charm with the #Arduino #Joystick library Ver 2.0.7. Here is a quick cheat sheet for button mapping when used with the #XAC. Would love to find a way to activate the triggers through the USB ports. @Xbox @XboxCanada @arduino

@RachelleBernier @Xbox @XboxCanada @arduino So the four limit switches for the joystick and the two buttons are wired as inputs to the Arduino, then you have firmware with the Joystick library to generate the output through USB?

@davidcombarieu @brycej @Xbox @XboxCanada @arduino As for that board in your picture. We have tried similar and while they do work, they quit working for us after a short time and one never worked at all. Using a non brand nano or leonardo controller allows for more customization. ie. sensitivity, dead zones, even mutton mashing!

@brycej @Xbox @XboxCanada @arduino Correction! Ours is the “MiniGrip Stick” from Ultimarc. It’s much cheaper even with the 3D printed box and arduino than the actual Ultrastick version.
