@RacingDFS Tons of young kids at Monmouth yesterday, the sport has to figure out how to retain a small percentage of them. They do a very bad job at that.

But technically speaking, doesn’t a lot of brutal horses running together make for better races and betting opportunities? As opposed to a superstar winning at 1/9 beating slugs by a pole every month?

my only takeaway from the Haskell, is that it just further solidified that this is a very weak, not to be remembered 3yo crop. it’s gonna be a brutal older horse division next year
