Best transition ever filmed?

I just saw a video that I'm sure is amazing but like I looked at it and went "bro it's not the 2000s anymore"

Live action…. Please kill this man 🙏🏽

I really hate the "you're not a fan if you watch gameplay instead of play it yourself" discourse because there's endless possibilities as to why that might be

🚨 La temporada 3 de One Piece ya ha empezado su rodaje este año, lo más probable es que salga en 2027 y abarque todo el arco de alabasta.

Everything around us is toxic. Are you paying attention yet?

It could've worked if they leaned more into the surrealism of One Piece's world. I don't care how expensive the sets (supposedly) are, the show's direction is flat, the effects look cheap, and the show is afraid to be cartoony where it should be and tries too hard to be cartoony where it shouldn't. The shot composition should look like Wes Anderson meets Quentin Tarantino, but instead it's shot like a CW show. They slap some prosthetics on an actor and call it a day without the same flow and cohesion as Oda's wacked-out character designs. The fight choreography is awful and nothing has weight to it, making every action scene look like play fighting because everyone just assumes the FX artists will handle everything. You can do some wild stuff in live action if you have a director with enough imagination. Look what Tim Burton did with Beetlejuice, or how well the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles made the jump to live action. It can be done, Netflix just doesn't have the talent on hand to do it.
