@BASEGEMSLLC Interesting read. But I am missing the value proposition for holding CFG tokens. What’s your take on this?

$AVAX $CFG $ONDO #BNB #BTC #ETH Some of the DUMBEST MFRs from last cycle are going to miss the narrative this cycle I swear. Calling for CFG to have staking and rewards is NONSENSE!!! Transition isn’t for RETAIL it’s for INSTITUTIONAL and BANKs to adopt blockchain. FK Period. That’s it. That’s where it’s going. They will be able have deposits, loan and conduct transactions at faster speeds on fast rails with CFG Tech backed by US Treasuries to offer clients access to various RWA assets onchain. CFG Token will be utilized to support this process. TOKENS Will become like holding a stock certificate. The idea is you personally hold and own basically shares of so said company through owning tokens rather than stock certificates. The OLD Wall ST is moving this direction. Walk the FK up and get onboard before you miss the greatest revolution of our times. Key Aspects of Centrifuge and US Institutional Integration: •RWA Focus: Centrifuge allows for the tokenization of assets like treasury bills, providing on-chain, 24/7 liquidity for institutional investors. •Institutional Partners: Centrifuge integrates with platforms like Fireblocks, which services large banks such as BNY Mellon, BNP Paribas, ABN AMRO, and ANZ Bank, allowing them to manage structured credit assets. •Structured Finance: Centrifuge supports institutional credit strategies, such as the $100M JAAA strategy on Aave, enabling high-quality assets to function as on-chain collateral. •Regulatory Focus: By utilizing tools like Coinbase Verifications, Centrifuge helps ensure compliance for institutional users participating in DeFi markets. •Market Position: As of early 2026, the token (CFG) is used for staking and governance, with a circulating supply actively trading on various platforms

I get the skepticism, fair point. But this isn’t a case of “token not needed”. @itsbhaji already clarified this earlier this year: • Revenue today is reinvested into growth • But the intent is to use revenue for buybacks • Once the protocol reaches sufficient scale So yes today cashflows don’t flow to the token. That’s intentional. The real question is timing, not direction. And that’s a very different setup from projects where value never returns to the token at all. CFG isn’t a wrapper sitting on top. It’s embedded in the infrastructure of the assets themselves. If/when cashflows connect → that’s where repricing happens. @centrifuge #CFG

$CFG is trading at a $82M market cap. With $1.44B TVL. Let that sink in. That’s a 0.057 MC/TVL ratio. Not 0.5 Not 0.2 → 0.057 Meanwhile: • ~$18M daily volume • Listed on Binance, Upbit, Coinbase • Real-world yield onchain This isn’t “early” This is mispriced When cashflows connect to the token… this doesn’t 2x It reprices. @Centrifuge $CFG 👀

@charlesbatens I understand, but I’m skeptical they’ll ever tie actual cash flow to the token. They can offer the same services without involving CFG. It wouldn’t be the first crypto project to abandon the native token once they realize it’s not actually needed.

@Racooned3 You’re right that not every token captures value. But CFG isn’t a passive wrapper it sits in the infrastructure of the assets themselves. The question isn’t if there’s a use case. It’s how and when cashflows get connected. That’s where repricing happens.

Pres. Trump called me a loser, a jerk and a Trump hater for telling the Fox audience the truth about the rising cost of living. Biden had a lot of help in causing the “affordability crisis,” including from Trump during his first term, and he’s not fixing it, he’s making it worse.

Wealthy people never stay at one place. - They register a business in Dubai. - Hold a passport from St. Lucia. - Buy a home in Thailand. - Keep their money in Switzerland. - Send their kids to school in London. It’s not chaos. It’s a carefully designed system. Here’s how..🧵

@0xChainMind “when someone buys a stablecoin abroad, that demand trickles straight into U.S. government debt” PROBLEM —> this only happens when a stablecoin is newly minted against U.S. Treasuries; buying an existing one just transfers ownership without changing U.S. debt

5/➫ Stablecoins are already backed mostly by U.S. assets ❍ New laws like the GENIUS Act require issuers to hold 1:1 reserves in Treasuries or cash ❍ Translation: when someone buys a stablecoin abroad, that demand trickles straight into U.S. government debt

@dreyerdc @byrnemick @cryptorbion I had the same question. Not sure there’s enough demand from foreign countries for more treasury-backed stablecoins to have a meaningful impact on T-bill demand

I won’t argue with your musical chairs analogy but that’s not how stablecoins work. Stablecoin issuers like Circle “sell” pegged tokens to crypto investors and purchase short term treasuries to back the tokens. They make their money off the T-bill interest, but in effect they are the 1:1 intermediary between their token buyers and the federal debt, so US debt shifts to individual investors and away from foreign Central Banks and other large institutional buyers. And yes, debt can now continue to expand without dependence on China, Japan, et.al. but my question to the OP was where the “halving US debt” was addressed.

@cryptorbion Great read! One question that comes to mind, who will actually be responsible for minting these new stablecoins? Centralized issuers, banks, decentralized protocols, or perhaps even the Federal Reserve itself using a stablecoin-like mechanism as a tool for quantitative easing?
