Sat there until it was time to go to bed. The plate went in the fridge and came out for my next meal. Only did that a handful of times. Only pass I got was when my Grandma made pjnto beans/ham hocks with cornbread. I didn't like beans until my 20s, so I didn't have to eat that meal.

1993, On my first ever business trip. Got a call from Home Office I hadn't filled out my bracket for the Office Pool. They faxed me a copy of the bracket, I spent all of 5 minutes filling it out and faxed it back in. Ended up with 13/16, 7/8, 3/4, Both Finals Teams and UNC Winning it All. Came in tied for second. 💰💰💰 Next year everyone tried to copy my bracket and I came in next to last. Haven't filled one out since.

My favorite time of year Filling out a bracket with massive confidence despite watching exactly 26 minutes of college basketball this season. Got 2nd in the office pool last year. Not sure how.

Just started a job at Chipotle and today was my first real shift. They sent me to the back to wash dishes and I walked in to a mountain of them piled up. I’m talking sinks full, racks full, everything. I literally said ‘there’s no way you expect one person to wash all of this.’ Manager basically told me if I didn’t finish them all I’d be sent home and probably fired. I didn’t sign up to be the entire dish crew by myself. I get doing your part, but dumping an entire shift’s worth of dishes on someone who just started feels completely crqzy. I honestly don’t understand how places think this is okay.”
