@eltonofficial Music is unifying, and I am so glad your music is in the world. Social media and politics…well we probably cannot expect them to be inherently unifying without a unified culture and good leadership to support them.

All my life I’ve tried to use music to bring people together. Yet it saddens me to see how misinformation is now being used to divide our world.   I’ve decided to no longer use Twitter, given their recent change in policy which will allow misinformation to flourish unchecked.

@elonmusk @ianmiles Opinions aside, people do often say things on Twitter that frankly aren’t factual, but people believe it anyway. Would be nice if Twitter had a little fact checker bot that could label tweets as “probably factual”or “possibly not factual” or something like that.
