Germany can restart two nuclear reactors within 3 years and a total of nine within 8 years. Continuing the use of nuclear energy is supported by the German public and would help stem losses in Germany’s industrial production. No insurmountable hurdles have been identified.

Why does this matter? The gender gap in nuclear support negatively impacts the nuclear industry’s social license, policy stability, and workforce. By understanding the causes of this gap, the nuclear industry can better address it.

What do you think drives the gender gap in nuclear support? In our preliminary report we found that in *every* country we surveyed, women support nuclear less than men. Often, significantly less.
