@DitotaDonn45775 Syracuse took easy route in hiring Autry after Boeheim left, which was much too late. Autry not qualified, no real coaching experience, had no defined assistant role (defense, offense, etc.), was focused on recruiting (feel for him here with the budget).

@THEbadgermaniac Defense poor all season, 65th in defensive efficiency ... but better when O clicks (see second half versus Iowa as good example), also Gard is weak at adjusting styles when the pick and pop not working and shooting poor 3%, it's his greatest coaching weakness

Teams can survive meh-shooting nights. But you had better play the other aspects of the game well. Badgers didn't lose because they shot poorly. They lost because they were sloppy with the ball and gave a bad offensive team easy looks following those turnovers.

Mikal Bridges is averaging 50.7 touches per game, behind Royce O’Neale (61.7) and Spencer Dinwiddie (78.2). Spencer should lead the team in touches, but Mikal’s number should not be less than Royce, and that drastically different to Dinwiddie.

Wirh Severino starting Game 2, I expect Higashioka to catch. He caught Severino’s ALDS start and Sevy’s 7-inning no-hitter. Also, Trevino is 0 for 9 off Valdez. Valdez devours LHB (.231 slugging %) so Carpenter will likely sit. Probably Stanton at DH and Cabrera back in lineup.
