We want every season to be a new entry point, and for new players to be able to understand what’s going on regardless of how long we’ve all been running.”

@HappyMotorhead Because it only works well on a healthy engine. An old engine, or in the cold, bad fuel, low spark, it just takes too long to wind it up between tries, rather than pulling it with manpower. Plus, the springs would weaken quickly. Seemingly great feature on a new engine though.😅

It's an ugly, optional way to steer, keeping the suspension separate from the steering/ braking assembly. There's no "ideology" in Marathon. It does not at all comment on contemporary politics. It's a dark sci-fi shooter designed by a team that made a point of eschewing AI, unlike other studios. Right-wing grifters like this guy don't care about that and couldn't tell you what is "woke" about Marathon if you pressed them because there's nothing there. Every single one of these culture war losers is some species of creative failure who gave up trying to make things or never tried and now just traffics in the dumbest content imaginable.
