@RealBSP3
The more complex the system, the simpler the underlying truth.

@TannerBuilds When the Sun swallows the Earth, that stuff will still be there.
English

@TechOperator What about adjusting tire pressure?
Ha. I've got you there. 🤣
English

@BrianRoemmele People can max, and mog, and noodle, and broccoli, jamzapop, and farm all they want, these days, but they'll never have his energy.
English

@harukaawake People also don't understand the title.
Samurai is also plural, but not many know that, in the US. The title is meant to convey all of the Samurai in the film.
It doesn't reference Tom Cruise. What you say is correct. He just provides the audience a view into the culture.
English

Tom Cruise plays a white foreigner in this film. He's not supposed to be Japanese in it. It's just the POV of an American who witnesses the end of the samurai era.
This is not the same as The Odyssey, for example.
Chase@ChaseThatCoin
@elonmusk @nypost That already happened it’s called the last samurai! Help me Tom Cruise… Help me Oprah Winfrey!
English

@bestofStarTrek More than likely, but it would depend upon the Vulcan.
It's entirely possible they have a master, on the planet.
English

@YourWaifu Imagine how long they'd last with rocks stuck in the spokes. Those were announced decades ago, and have only found a few uses.
English

Imagine how many rocks these fuckers would throw around in your wheel wells

English

@Mike_M_Klotz @UnacceptableOne I'll go there. 😎
Both Nissan and Toyota made compact 1 ton pickups in the '80s and '90s.

English

@UnacceptableOne compact 1/4 ton versus a full-size HD?
It’s not physically possible to roll my eyes any harder.
English

@TechOperator I need to do some of that, tonight, to post something fun, that people actually want to read.
I need to stop going on about that stick. 🤣
English

@Radios4Freedom 🤣
The only reason I know the name of that capital is Craig Fergusson's show. He started optional questions by mentioning that, to throw people off. 🤣
Yeah, that would be an awesome experience. We've got the tech to make it look real enough, so why not go for it?
English

@RealBSP3 Yeah, hop a volcanic rift, drift around the hot springs with bikini girls, head over to a high speed cavern, pop out in downtown Rycktvachtckekcc (or however u spell it 🤣)
English

@BillyL401 @dreamkid83 @PhilCollinsFeed Thanks!
That's what I wanted to make. Something that was cool.
It had no real purpose beyond that. 🤣
English

Telling my kids this is what a late night drive in a convertible sounded like in the 1980s
#synth #80s #guitar #classic80s
English

@Radios4Freedom Oh, that would be sick. I didn't think of that potential, but it would be great for top speed runs, long distance drift challenges, and all manner of shenanigans. 🔥
I'm still imagining jumping off a glacier ramp over a volcano. 🤣
English

@RealBSP3 I could get behind that.
Build a high speed ice bridge over to Greenland in a following expansion pack.
English

@SandyofCthulhu If koala bears shaped like that started running about, I'd be at least a little alarmed.
I'm not a fan of lemurs out and about, as they're creepy when moving, but they're cute in pictures.
English

For Call of Cthulhu, the worst is the sand dweller, which was described by August Derleth as having a face like a koala bear. Soooo scary.🙄
I did my best to make it scarier in a later campaign I helped author. But I wasn't given much to work with. Below are the miniatures Grenadier created for them.

English

@tuuu28283 I wasn't around in it's prime but, from what I gather, what I saw driving it was nothing as it used to be.
It's still a road, though, and it still goes through beautiful land.
English

@Polymarket We can now read on computers.
The end. Innovation over.
No more can be squeezed out of reading; and certainly not out of a bookmark. Anything further is why-tech.
Don't encourage it.
English

@BillyM2k @Polymarket But how can I poke my chest and see a thing on my hand without it? What will life be like without that capability?
English

@Radios4Freedom Things were better, back then.
At that time, I'd be playing a dungeon crawler RPG with others, flying a WWI airplane, or even drawing on a community notepad.
Now, I'm on X, annoyed and arguing about a stick.
I know which was more fun. 🤣
English

@RealBSP3 Even Compuserve was fun looking and innocent.
Sure most of the stuff was text only when you clicked on it, but a 14.4 modem was state of the art at this time.

English

@StaticKittyKat The Imagination Network.
It was a Sierra service, that offered a few multiplayer games with text chat, as well as other fun things to do.
I wish it was still around.
