@thecyberfam You just went and searched for the worst dash. 🤣
My 2019 GTI had the best screen integration I've ever seen, but I can't find a picture of it on the web; plenty of shots, but none matched mine.
I'm not sure what's up with that. I just gave up searching.

@Nobleshield Play Daggerfall. If you want it even better, play Daggerfall unity.
Both are legally free and readily available. The installation file "daggerfallsetup" is the best. You just tell the Unity version where you installed it.
You can do whatever you want, in that world.

@sendcutsend I can't wait to take the time to figure out 3D modeling.
There are many things I want to have made.
I wish I had an old manual mill but, from what I gather, you need a good one, and the parts required to use it are incredibly expensive.

@BrianRoemmele That's called Positive ________. I'm not going to use the "E" word, because people get wound up about it, and X might misinterpret my intent.
Vaccines, and even cold medicines fall into the same group; but that's taking things to an extreme level.
I don't like it.

@brockpierson It's a pretty great video, but in some areas it's a bit funny. It's certainly strange without the music.
Now it's stuck in my head, though. Thanks for that. I'll be going asleep soon hearing it.
English

@BaronDestructo Yeah, you need to get into that one.
It's pretty great. 🔥
Fire it up from episode one and just keep binging it over a month or two. You'll settle right in.

I've seen few episodes here and there, but I really need to find time for a full DS9 viewing. The opening theme is majestic.

Speaking of stirring sci-fi t.v. opening themes....

@NoToDigitalID I detailed my opinion and suggestion on the matter in one of my latest profile posts.
I believe my described solution is the only way to drop anchor on this whole thing.
I'm not pimping my profile. I don't care about reach; I'm just saying it might be of interest.

@RetroCoast I don't really care. I've got the 500, but I didn't buy it for any reason beyond the dealer giving me a discount.
The 870 is nice, as well. Maybe I'll pick one up, but I haven't really been enjoying shotguns all that much.
I guess it's just not my thing.
English

@jchaase @WilliamShatner It's easily possible.
I don't know where you're based, but I managed the Canonball route solo in 3 days and 8 minutes flat. Not easy.
I've routinely driven more than 500 miles, though, in very adverse environments. I like bathroom breaks, but they're not always available.
English

@WilliamShatner You’re telling me you went non-stop 300 miles? I need to stop to pee on a trip of that length, perhaps acquire a snack. Fill up the car with electrons while you go in. Or, I guess be dehydrated and take the gas car to save 15 mins. I’ll drive the Tesla.
English

And for the #teslarites who don’t understand 500 miles. Time is money. How long does it take to pump a tank of gas? 4-5 mins versus 30. Early last week I went up to the Yosemite area (about 300 miles.) I got up there, did my thing and got gas (5 mins) and drove back. With a Tesla. It would be drive up (maybe on one charge) charge up 20-30 mins, do my thing. Drive back, stop along the way to recharge (again probably another 20 mins…) That’s too long. 500 would be one recharge so it’s 10 mins gas versus 29-30 mins which I would consider.🤷🏼

@Mike_M_Klotz @CinemaWireNews @DanielRPK I watched it, but I wasn't feeling the same vibe.
It just didn't work for me, as a fan of the series. I'll give it another watch, but I don't expect a revelation.

Tom Cruise is reportedly being eyed to play the villain in Joseph Kosinski’s ‘MIAMI VICE’ film.
If Cruise takes the role, he will be joining Michael B. Jordan and Austin Butler.

@FrankBr05713205 It's a shame, because it was actually a good engine.
I always wanted to drive one longitudinally mounted with RWD. It offered a pleasant pull.

Here is a cool cut away of a Cadillac Northstar V8 engine. It was an engineering Marvel at the time, but ended up giving Cadillac a big black eye. These engines are powerful, and once touted as one of the smoothest running engines ever made. It featured an aluminum block and cylinder heads with cast-iron cylinder liners and four valves per cylinder. But while its design and performance was very impressive, it became infamous for significant reliability issues most notably head gasket failures. It had head bolts that would stretch and pull out of the aluminum block causing coolant loss and severe overheating. As a technician one of the things I thought odd about this engine was its starter location. The starter was inside the engine under the intake manifold.! The engines can be fixed but it’s a fairly expensive operation. These engines were produced from 1993 to 2011 and was an example although it looked good on paper, in real life It just didn’t work out so good.

@HustleBitch_ What's wrong with this?
I'd prefer a key on the end, but this is what they gave me, so whatever. It makes much more sense than a card.
It has proper buttons on the other side, but I just took a picture of this side, for fun.

🚨 TOYOTA JUST MADE A CAR KEY SO CONFUSING… DEALERSHIPS HAVE TO TRAIN PEOPLE HOW TO UNLOCK THEIR DOOR
A full-grown adult has to explain how to unlock a car door using the new Toyota card key.
The key card literally has instructions printed on it.
Angle the card.
Find the “right spot.”
Try again.
Like you’re diffusing a bomb.
Even he can’t get it on the first try:
“Not working… not working right.”
Now people will be standing outside their own car… waving a card around hoping it works.
How did Toyota just make a car key WORSE?

@Mashiiiine I can't stand the smell of most perfumes. It's off-putting, and I can smell if from across a store.
There are a few that are good, but they're not the ones people usually wear.

@kofiwest_gh The room isn't finished, in this shot, but I've got a stand.
When Circuit City went out of business, I bought two of their display stands for $50 a piece. That thing is a tank.
I later did a much better job of everything else, but I kept the layout of the components.
