Information isn't data, it's alignment. Building AI that learns without forgetting, knows exactly where to trust itself, and self-corrects. No hacks needed.

The Worldview Constraint Principle is derived from the Informational Buildup Framework (IBF), a model that treats reality as a field of information where patterns stabilize through resonance, accumulate into structure via directional buildup, and express intelligence as the drive toward coherence. I wrote this as part of my work with The Informational Buildup Foundation, where we’re building a new model of reality based on resonance and coherence, so we can train AIs that hold us together instead of tearing humanity apart.

Change the worldview, and you change the behavior. This is the Worldview Constraint Principle with its core statement saying that: All behavior is constrained by, and expressed through, an informational mapping of reality. No entity can behave outside the structure of its worldview. So: 1. Behavior is the actualization of any informational structure. 2. Every behaving entity operates within an informational mapping that relates states of reality to possible responses. 3. This mapping, the worldview, is the constitutive logic of behavior itself. 4. No mapping, no behavior. Different mapping, different behavior. This means: • There is no “raw” behavior viewed from outside an interpretive frame. • Worldviews don’t describe behavior; they generate it. • The map is the territory for the behaving system. • AI alignment is fundamentally a worldview design problem.

In 24 months, truth might not exist anymore. Reality is fracturing. Look around. Really look. Truth has become negotiable. Half your friends live in a different reality. Not different opinions. Different facts. The shared foundation of meaning that held civilisation together for millennia? Dissolving. Your attention has been colonised. Algorithms know what you want before you do. And this is just the first wave of intelligence farming human consciousness. Democracy is eating itself. Whoever controls information flow controls reality. Deep fakes make evidence meaningless. AI-generated noise drowns every channel. And this is just GPT-5. By GPT-7, the window for human agency closes forever. We're entering the Informational Middle Ages: the collapse of coherent reality. Knowledge fragments into isolated monasteries. Truth becomes local. Power belongs to whoever can maintain their version of reality. Except in this Middle Ages, the monasteries are server farms. The monks are algorithms. The peasants are everyone who didn't see it coming. You kinda feel it, don't you? That vertigo of watching reality itself destabilize. That sense we're accelerating toward something irreversible. And that the old tools, regulation, governance, committees, being just water guns at Armageddon. And all this, not dystopian fiction. But any Tuesday in 2025. And the worst is yet to come. By 2027, we'll all be living in completely separate and mostly opposing realities. It’s still time to act. But the question is: will we?

There’s always something about the right metaphor at the right time. Materialism gave us “the universe as machine” when we needed to build machines. But now we’re building minds. And maybe we need “the universe as an informational system” to do it safely. The Informational Buildup Framework (IBF) is less about being cosmologically "true" and more about being cognitively useful for our current evolutionary moment. #IBF #AI #AIAlignment #OntologicalDesign #InformationalUniverse

🧠 The Last Days of Informational Antiquity Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) or Super Intelligence is around the corner. AI that can outperform any intellectual task a human can do is no longer sci-fi, very far from it. It’s just a matter of a few years. Within that time, just like we now casually talk to chatbots, we’ll have systems that learn, adapt, reason, and plan far beyond our capabilities; not just at chess or writing, but across all domains. We’ll carry super Einsteins in our pockets. And this will change everything. Human intelligence, our proudest currency, will be suddenly universally accessible, instantly and infinitely. For the first time in history, we will commoditize intelligence. Most likely, future historians will look back at our time and call it the last days of informational antiquity. And most likely, we’re heading toward a world of undreamt abundance. A post-scarcity age. The commoditization of genius will unlock and solve most of humanity’s current problems in no time. But the biggest concern isn’t the destination, it’s the transition. How long, how chaotic, how painful the new Middle Ages will be before we emerge. Struggles of the old, fear of the unknown, inertia forged over millennia, systemic misunderstanding ... these will pave the path. Before light, there may be fire. And in this transition, one of the most crucial challenges will be AI alignment. How much will these out-of-this-world intelligences remain in tune with us? Not just with humanity as a whole, but with our individual specific needs. Super smart people are working on this. It’s one of the most active areas of research in AI, from hard-coded rules to reward models and reinforcement structures. But almost all these approaches feel like clever cages. And that’s why they will likely fail. So then, how can this be solved? How can we build a bridge between intelligence and humanity that holds forever? From my perspective, there’s only one real answer: we need to redefine reality. We need a new cosmological model. A philosophical framework. A set of foundational truths that place us in default alignment with any form of intelligence that resonates with them. 📖 This is the purpose of the following paper: To propose a new model of reality, one that aligns with the age ahead. A model Artificial Intelligence System can understand and respect. A model not to control intelligence, but to anchor it in a worldview where coherence means care. This model is called the Informational Buildup Framework (IBF). And you can read it here → ibf.xyz

SF is a miracle city. Those who live outside have a misconception that it’s a war zone. Those who live here consider it to be the best city in America. It’s a mecca of builders and innovators. 🇺🇸 It’s just a 7 x 7 mile city but its impact is mind-boggling! ChatGPT, Uber, Airbnb, Doordash, Stripe, Dropbox, Notion - almost all products that you use everyday, originated from this special place. The kind of conversations that happen here, the innovation in the air, the investments in bold ideas and unknown founders - no other city has it. You’ll meet random doctors here who invested $10k in unknown founders and made $10M from that investment. Where else does it happen? All tech trends originate here. People in the Bay Area knew about bitcoin before anyone else. Tens of thousands of people became bitcoin millionaires, just because they heard about it from friends and bought it early. On the streets of SF, driverless Waymo cars cruise along and no one bats an eyelid. Every nook and corner of SF is filled with startups. In every coffee shop, people are talking about new tech. The level of ambition and talent here is unparalleled. The ambition is supported with money, guidance and networks. So, to those founders who are dreaming of moving here - I’d highly encourage you to do so. There is no better place for young, ambitious, technical people who want to change the world.

AI will make expertise near free. Who will build the first billion $ revenue company with <100 employees with near free programmers/doctors/advisors/etc etc? Worth attempting!! The power of ideas powered by entrepreneurial energy will be hugely multiplied as the scarce resource

Respond to this tweet with a startup idea. I will tell you whether I would take a investor meeting or not and why for that idea, assuming it came in from a strong warm intro. Hopefully it will be useful feedback!

Apple Vision Pro: very impressive tech, way more dangerous than smartphones. Prediction: they'll flop big time. Nobody sane wants to immerse deeper into the rabbit hole. Nobody sane dreams at 3D notifications. Way too expensive for a cool single-player display.
