After only one season with revenue sharing, Arkansas Tennis becomes the first casualty of the new era. One father speaks out. bestofarkansassports.com/arkansas-tenni…

FWIW, Arkansas reported spending about $2.35 million on tennis (M+W) last season. That would be 14th out of 15 public schools in the SEC...but only school is spending more than 4 million. The gap isnt THAT big. (Data via Extra Points Library)

Been seeing a lot of talk online lately. None of that matters. It doesn’t matter where a player’s from, how old they are as a freshman, how many times they transfer, if they play pro events during the season, how many matches they play, how much NIL they get, or how many extra seasons they have. None of that should define college tennis. What matters is the level. Put the best tennis product on the court and let the players live their lives. Let them compete. And if every other college sport is doing it, why should tennis be any different? At the end of the day, we just want college tennis at its highest level. For the players.
