Accountability is becoming the standard for my girls, and I’m proud of it. Every day I assign homework for them to complete outside of practice, and they’re expected to record and send videos showing their work. What I love most is seeing them actually follow through without being reminded over and over. That’s what accountability looks like starting now. The players who really want it will show it through their actions when nobody is watching. I’m beyond proud of all of my players from the littles in Pre-K all the way up to my juniors. Growth looks different at every level, but effort and discipline speak the same language everywhere.

Battle in the Big Friendly this weekend and it didn’t disappoint! Great competition all around, and our girls stepped up and handled business. We’ve been saying it—once this group gets comfortable playing together, they’re going to be a problem… and they showed exactly that this weekend. Super proud of the way they competed, stayed together, and kept growing every game. Still a lot of work to do. Never satisfied. We on a mission… scholarships 🎯

Finished the weekend 2–2. Still building, still learning, still growing. Every game is preparation for what’s next. Back to the lab Monday no days off in development. 💯🏀

First game… whew!! We can’t just post the success we’re used to—today we got smacked. Came in short-handed, missing half our squad, and still hit the floor with 6 girls… even had a 6th grader out there battling in 17U. That says a lot about the heart of this group. No excuses though—we have to be better, and we will be. Y’all better get your licks in this weekend… because once we’re back at full strength next week, it’s a whole different story. 💯 Oh and @RaeleeEllis is a dawg !! We just getting started check her out !!

This weekend didn’t end how we wanted, but we stepped on the court and competed against some real tough teams. Nothing was given we had to fight for everything. We faced challenges all weekend… new environment, different atmosphere, and teams full of length. When you’re used to certain matchups and now you’re going against guards that are 5’9 and up across the board, it forces you to adjust quick. And that’s exactly what this game is about adjusting, learning, and growing. This is a brand new team, still building chemistry, and we rolled all weekend with just 7 players one of them a 6th grader stepping up and competing. That says a lot about this group’s toughness and willingness to show up. We took some losses, but we also gained experience you can’t teach in practice. That kind of competition exposes what we need to work on, and we’re not running from that we’re running straight to it. Back to the lab we go. 🏀 Next up: The Big Friendly tournament next weekend. Another opportunity, another test. We’ll be ready. We’ll get better. We’ll grow. And we’ll be ready next time. Royal Legacy Premier Athletics

Out and about and was able to catch a few Legacy girls competing during school ball 🏀 From Coach Brie’s group, Walker’s group and Washington girls, along with some future Legacy athletes. Love seeing them represent their schools, play the right way, and continue to grow as teammates and competitors. Excited to keep watching them through the school season and can’t wait for spring and summer. Keep grinding, ladies. Stay locked
