Bohemian did $50m opening weekend compared to $217m on Michael. AND the drop-off 2nd week for Bohemian was 60% I believe, they're saying 2nd week drop off for Michael is well under 50%. And Bohemian did $900m total. #MichaelMovie

THE RULES: 5 points for every correct film in the domestic Top 10, regardless of placement.
Then, an additional 10 points for #1, 9 points for #2, 8 points for #3…1 point for #10, etc. if you correctly guess the exact placement of any of the Top 10 highest-grossing films.
MORE RULES: Totals are from films released domestically from the 1st weekend of May through Labor Day weekend. Grosses don't stop on Labor Day, though, as films keep tabulating until they leave theaters. So, winner will likely be announced in the fall.

El estreno de “Michael” deslumbra con el mejor estreno biográfico en Estados Unidos, 97 millones de dólares, superando los 89,3 millones de “American Sniper” (2014, Warner) y los 82,5 millones de “Oppenheimer” (2023, Universal).
El total del fin de semana se sitúa en unos estimados 148-152M$, el segundo mayor dato de un fin de semana en lo que llevamos de 2026.
#MichaelPelícula se convierte en el noveno mejor estreno de un mes de abril, ranking que este año también se vio renovado con la llegada de #SuperMarioGalaxy y sus 131M$.
La cifra supone un 64% de los ingresos del fin de semana, en el que los dos siguientes títulos, “Super Mario Galaxy” y “Project Hail Mary”, concentran 34,4 millones, equivalentes al 22,6% de los ingresos globales del viernes al domingo. El resto de la cartelera se conforma con migajas por valor de apenas 20 millones.
Con este megaestreno, abril coloca su total en un estimado de 792-795 millones de dólares, y aspira a terminar el mes en los 850 millones, un 10,4% menos que en 2025 y un 12% menos que en 2023. Pero en su conjunto, el total de lo que llevamos de año es ya de 2.570 millones de dólares, y mayo empezaría por encima de los 2.600 millones. El dato global es el mejor desde 2019, superando en un 2% el récord de 2023.
Hay que mencionar el mérito de “Hail Mary” y “Hoppers”, que son los dos films más veteranos del top 10 y los que presentan menores descensos, un 38% y un 38%, respectivamente, pese a perder presencia en salas, en especial la primera, que perdía la mayoría de las salas IMAX y premium en favor del film sobre Michael Jackson. #MichaelFilm #Boxoffice #MichaelJackson

The Boys season 5 has to be a satisfying conclusion to not only the actual show and all it’s plot lines, but also a spin off show with it’s own different cast, and it has to introduce characters for the solider boy prequel show, and be a Supernatural reunion, why did they do this
