In 2014, 23-year-old Ashley Gabrielle Huff was pulled over in Georgia. Police found a spoon with red residue and a field drug test said it was methamphetamine.

@Juice999__ I have no issues with tax. It is needed. 40%+ on income is not. 20% VAT is crazy, plus all the other taxes. My issue is we are taxed heavily and we don’t get much back. Britain is a brilliant place to be if you are poor. Middle class or rich, not so much.

The UK minimum wage should be £71/h
UK National Minimum Wage (1999): Introduced on 1 April 1999 at exactly £3.60 per hour for adult workers.
Gold price in April 1999 hovered around £170 - £180 per ounce.
Ounces of gold that £3.60 could buy in April 1999: 0.02 ounces of gold.
To maintain the same gold purchasing power today:
0.02 oz × current gold price (£3,550/oz mid-range example) ≈ £71 per hour.
Today’s actual rate (£12.71) buys far less gold than the original £3.60 did in 1999 roughly 1/5th to 1/6th as much.
Everyone is criminally underpaid in the UK.

£26436.80 is the new min wage annual salary (40 hrs p/wk).
And as the min wage rises, regular salaries don't. So many people will begin to ask themselves 'why am I working this highly stressful job that needed qualifications and a tonne of bullshit paperwork and police checks just to earn 5k more a year than I would stacking shelves at Lidl?'
