@yiiizhouisms02 We're not oomfs but I hope it's okay if I comment, I think the damage is done. A lot of my moots that I've spoken to and I just don't trust the game quality anymore, not that this is what started it, but it definitely was the last straw for a lot of people. :(

i don’t say this maliciously but… idk. there is no way to satisfy the community. if valko is brought back then it will just anger the asian side more. if valko stays gone it will just anger the global side more. at the end of the day infold is going to want to appease their largest source of income. this entire situation is a lot bigger than any of us. and even if they brought valko back, the trust is totally gone. if the cn side is given any more ammunition to be angry at infold, they will tear the company down brick by brick. i want to ask my oomfs: what do you want exactly to happen? do you want valko back at the risk of the game shutting down? or do you want better treatment of the original five LIs and their fans? i ask this genuinely because i am seeing so many conflicting arguments and i have no idea what the end goal is or what the ideal outcome is anymore.

are you aware that infold literally shut down global servers for their other otome game a few months ago? but the CN server is still going strong. not to mention infold retconning infinity nikki's main story on a random tuesday this isnt about other otomes. this is about INFOLD

a company that sacrifices the creative vision of its writers & artists to kowtow to unhinged adults throwing tantrums is not a company worth supporting thank you for making it an easy decision to stop spending money on this game

I want to add something my husband pointed out because this goes so much deeper than a female-centered gooner gacha game. All gamers should be extremely concerned about this. Valko, the 6th LI, was COMPLETED. Hundreds of thousands, if not millions, had already been spent creating him. Four VAs, mocap and animation, battle design, art for cards and avatars and official merchandise, writing for his main quest line and his route, and a bunch of other things I am definitely forgetting. All of that money. GONE. Not reallocated to other sources of the game. Completely GONE. Valko was supposed to release in 10 days. This is like if if Mihoyo erased a whole questline along with an almost released finished character because a loud enough group didn't like them. I also want to add that this group of players that got Valko cancelled are the same group behind the Snowbreak fiasco. It is a group of Radfems who have the gacha community in a chokehold. Most LADS players were completely fine with Snowbreak.

I've already said it several times but it's worth repeating: yandere Caleb and villainous Sylus are going to be sanitized heavily after this. We can kiss our dark colonel and mafia boss goodbye.

Wow, so you've really lost all integrity as a game developer, and as a company... You're just going to remove a whole character like that? That destroys the framework of the game's story; the overall plot, foils, conflict, integration and crossover, character backgrounds, anecdotes... It also compromises the stellactrum balance of the combat-based features, so really, what sort of future are we looking towards? There's nowhere to go from here. This game is being led to a premature end. Meaning that all of the money invested in it means absolutely nothing. Not to mention, all of the people who worked on Valko and the other future LIs hard work was for naught and you're not even going to address that? No apology? They are now out of the job now as well. Zero integrity. Your artists deserve better. This move is absolutely spineless, pitiful, and tone deaf. You're no longer trustworthy to even handle the five LIs that you barely hold onto as their narratives are hanging by a thread and you refuse to address any real issues with the game. Grow a backbone for ONCE or continue being greedy cowards. You choose. This is not only painfully disappointing but also incredibly embarrassing. #BringValkoBack

i dont think u guys are understanding that this is partly a censorship issue. if fictional content can be taken down & removed because of moral panics over whats 'safe for women', if things can be taken away because enough people got angry, that sets a dangerous precedent for other things powerful people would want to take away from you. this is why we tell artists on here to never capitulate to the bullies cause once you do ONE time, you signal that it works & then you start self-censoring. which is now going to be a bigger problem with the game, they are going to be afraid to make risks & will never win back their good will.

Oh so they CAN change things if they please. So they CAN make adjustments if need, cancel characters if needed. Okay. But in 2+ years in and I still can’t see my mc in kindles, even after addressing it in every survey. Because the cn girlies didn’t step in? don’t have to deal with it so it’s a nothing issue? Just a clearer time window for MS branch drop. ▪️"We will work on existing 5 LIs" are just pretty words. Not much improved since Caleb's debut, so I have 0 reason to believe now they will suddenly solve all our problems. ▪️We all knew that eventually Sylus and Caleb would have gotten free story branch card just like OG3. (Yes, the issue was not knowing when they will finally give it to us - this is a tiny win to know it's coming this autumn) ▪️Infold didn't say they will now batch update all their missing content - anecdotes, bonds, ASMR cards, 4 star solar pairs, missing standard companions etc. ▪️Multi banner and solo/bd schedule is the same. ▪️No mention of battle update - Orbit nor Abyssal - so no renewable dias farming place for now. ▪️Valko will be an NPC most likely if they will keep that story part that was already written. (Money we all spent on the game and was used on these updates will not magically re-appear) Or now the original story of this whole game that was planned for a long time will be completely rewritten. And maybe some old parts will no longer make sense. ▪️Rafayel has no "rival" LI. ▪️Valko VAs lost their jobs. Or rather were demoted back to little NPC voicing. ▪️Dark skin issues remain. ▪️The biggest loss is that with this announcement it is 100% clear global server players has no say in all this. No matter if you are VIP or f2p. Only CN can throw tantrums. ▪️Now if CN has problems with your LI they can dig up anything and get content removed. ▪️Yellow stella free solar pair will never be filled due to 6th LI never being released - new players, solo mains or f2p players are suffering the most from this. ▪️How will the game survive when people eventually will lose interest and drop their beloved LIs, and there won't be any new LI to attract new players with different taste? If now due to this CN slap in our face, huge spenders on global server will drop out or stop spending, that can lead to global server shut down. In that case it will be a true victory I guess.

Maybe this is just copium, but, they released his OST on Spotify earlier and all of his trailers are still up on YouTube. They haven't privated/deleted anything yet despite knowing they were going to make this announcement. Maybe there's still hope. I don't know.
