@ronaldobrown_98 Yup, the PL ceiling isn't perhaps as great as others, but the floor seems to be much higher. Like all but the big teams from the other T5 leagues are likely to be fighting relegation if they were in the PL.

Is Premier League teams success in Europa League/Conference league more indicative of the strength of the Prem - rather than UCL success? Seems to prove the argument about it having the highest floor by far, the nuance “all league matter” fans miss.

@FPLfrasier If we were to spend big (100m or more) on a midfielder, he is the one I'd go for. More so than Tonali or Anderson or Baleba or any other names we've been linked to. But it's probably extremely unlikely that he leaves PSG.

He's prob got a shout for being the most underrated in terms of how a vast majority view him and what his actual level is.

@RPA00_ @UtdNadd Sure, it doesn't warrant GOAT conversations maybe, but there aren't many other players who play as many minutes with those kind of numbers. It is pointless to compare any current player to freaks like Messi/Ronaldo. Those numbers are not really reasonable.

@thePoS_007 Weirdly enough, with the women's team, I don't think a lack of spending is the issue. There is a decent squad there that has seen consistent spending and improvement. Injuries and manager's quality seem to be the limiting factor, atleast on the surface.

I'm not sure #MUFC selling a part of their women's team is actually the answer here.

@Ole_is_right I think he had one such patch. Which was also the only time he won successive PL games with us. Sunderland, Pool, Brighton, Forest, Spurs, Everton. 3W, 2D and 1L against 10-man Everton when Gueye went off for slapping his own teammate 😭😭. Still can't believe we lost that game.

How many times did Amorim have a more successful 5-game run than 10 points (3W, 1D, 1L) in the league? That is to say: did Amorim ever experience a higher high, than Carrick’s present “low” (to the extent it can be called a “low”).
