So let me get this straight… A drama about a fictional government agency stepping into schools to deal with violent bullies is causing outrage because it supposedly promotes violence and portrays schools negatively? 😭 At this point, it feels like some people are more offended by the bullies getting punished than by the bullying itself. 😂🍿 I haven’t even watched Teach You a Lesson yet and the discourse is already giving me a headache. 😭

Sebelum dijadiin drama, webtoon True Education / Teach You A Lesson udah pernah dirujak knetz karena dinilai mempromosikan kekerasan dan hukuman fisik, isu rasisme di salah chapter webtoon (tapi udah dihapus), dikritik karena misogini Bahkan pas diumumin jadi series, banyak serikat guru di Korsel yang demo menuntut penghentian produksi drama Teach You A Lesson. Mereka mengeluarkan pernyataan "Kekerasan bukanlah pendidikan yang benar" dan meminta Netflix membatalkan proyek tersebut. Drama ini ceritanya tentang tim khusus ERPA yang turun tangan buat ngasih pelajaran ke para pelaku bullying, pelaku kekerasan, dan penyelahangunaan kekuasaan di sekolah dengan cara yang jauh dari kata biasa. v.daum.net/v/202507231122…
Suicide rate is spiking,high schoolers go through excessive bullying and they are worried about a tv show???? They could use this opportunity to demand for a stronger punishments for bullies instead. Please give us another season @netflix
