Is anyone in the market for a 700-year-old Templar Knights watchtower? Because there's one for sale in the Lot valley, France. 7 bedrooms across 6 floors, a frescoed dining room, spiral staircase and views over a peaceful medieval village in the Lot region. There's also a 2-bedroom stone cottage in the walled courtyard, an enclosed garden and a heated swimming pool. Asking price: €550k ($634k). The Templar Knights who built this probably didn't picture the pool. But here we are.

@SaneNoam @CarlessJef60376 @TimurNegru @astrobuni house prices while inflated are just not absolute pathetic levels USA has. there is a few exceptions sure like right in middle of say london or paris but anywhere outside of that you would find it a hard time finding things overly expensive.

@N1colette_X @Ahoworksco lmao your joking right. clearly history failed you. some even small bridges overall took 100+ years and they was half the size of this. it was at times 1-2 people doing it from local materials which meant even time just collecting the materials could take 30+ years

@RaidenFm @KrystalFarr3 @Julia_CaSsian I wasn’t going to respond because it’s been 3 days and I don’t really care. I just find it really strange and funny that you would lie about having 200 hours in the game. It’s only been out 8 days it’s impossible for you to have 200 hours in it. Lmao

The tweet i made yesterday about what i didnt like in Crimson Desert gained me a record of insults so i wanted to add that Kliff is boring, i would love a character creator and since its an open world sandbox with a mediocre story, i would like if nothing was locked behind it

@Dansgaming Why? Most quests are as dull as kliff. Who the hell wants this kind of torture

My suggested way to play Crimson Dessert: 1. Do all main quests in a zone until it tells you to go to another main zone. 2. Then do all side quests and exploration of that zone This makes sure you won't miss anything as some locations will be empty without doing some quests.

@MeatDILF @KrystalFarr3 @Julia_CaSsian also cant do any abyss puzzles, cant do many side quests as they are locked to kliff for various reasons.... they are essentially used for exploration and stuff like clearing forts/small requests. i have like 200 hours into the game at this stage.

@MeatDILF @KrystalFarr3 @Julia_CaSsian and yet the other 2 are locked out of 95% of content in the game. they can essentially just run around and do combat thats it because no puzzles can be done with them etc

@aakashgupta Trees around a house/next to it is a pain in the ass. 1 cleanup in the fall 2. Storms, always having to worry about it falling down or big branches breaking off. 3. Roots ruin a lot of things concrete, plumbing pipes. Top pic is better

Let me explain exactly why every new subdivision in America looks like the top photo, because the math is wild. A mature tree increases a home's value by 7 to 19 percent. On a $400,000 house, that's $28,000 to $76,000. A single shade tree produces the cooling equivalent of ten room-size air conditioners running 20 hours a day. One tree on the west side of a house cuts energy bills by 12 percent within 15 years. The bottom photo is worth more, costs less to live in, and sells faster. This has been documented by the University of Washington, Clemson, Michigan State, and the USDA. The data is not in dispute. Removing those trees saves the builder roughly $5,000 per lot. Concrete trucks need twice the dripline radius of every standing tree. Utility trenches need flat ground. A bulldozer flattens 200 lots in an afternoon. Preserving trees adds weeks and thousands per home. So the developer pockets $5,000 in savings and the buyer eats $50,000 in lost value for the next two decades. The person making the decision and the person paying for it have never been in the same room. The Woodlands, Texas is the proof of what happens when they are. George Mitchell bought 28,000 acres of Houston timberland in 1974 and preserved 28% as permanent green space. He forced McDonald's to build behind the tree canopy. That McDonald's became one of the highest-volume locations in Texas. The first office building, designed to reflect the surrounding forest so you couldn't see it from the street, leased completely. The Woodlands median home price today: $615,000. Katy, a comparable Houston suburb that clear-cut: $375,000. Named #1 community to live in America two years running. Fifty years of data. The trees are worth more than removing them saves. Developers clear-cut anyway because they sell the house once and leave. You live in it for 30 years.

@AELeighton2 @Chizitere_xyz took a simple statement and twisted it into a "she vs he" moment... nobody said it was superior its a simple case of understanding the different mindsets of male vs female. you turning it into a she vs he is incredibly toxic and you need therapy.

The internet constantly tells women that men are terrible listeners because the second a woman starts venting about her day, the man immediately interrupts to offer a logical solution. We are taught to view this as him being dismissive, emotionally unintelligent, or invalidating our feelings. The strict, unpopular truth is that to a man, fixing the problem is his absolute highest, most desperate form of empathy. Women vent to connect; we want our partner to just sit in the dark with us and validate the emotion. But men are hardwired to view the woman they love being in distress as an active threat. When he immediately offers a spreadsheet, a strategy, or a solution to your problem, he isn't trying to silence you. His brain has recognized that something in the world is hurting his partner, and his immediate, visceral instinct is to assassinate the thing causing you pain. We constantly shame men for "not just listening," completely ignoring the fact that his attempt to fix your life is his most profound declaration of love.
