We Need Major Election Reform ▪️Right to in-person voting is absolute ▪️Mandate paper ballots ▪️Voter photo ID requirement ▪️15 day voter registration deadline ▪️15 days of early in-person voting, including weekends ▪️No same day voter registration ▪️Ban ballot harvesting ▪️Make Election Day a nat’l holiday ▪️Photo ID requirement for mail-in ballots ▪️Voters must request a mail-in ballot in order to receive one ▪️Any drop boxes must be camera monitored 24/7 & located inside of a courthouse or election office ▪️No automatic mail-in ballots, as seen in CA, NV, OR, & WA ▪️Reinstate in-person voting in Washington State ▪️Increase payment for Election Day Workers ▪️Illegal voters may be removed from the rolls at any time ▪️No ballot may be received after Election Day deadline ▪️Election officials may be held criminally liable for unpreparedness e.g. running out of paper on Election Day ▪️Voters cannot register via a P.O. Box or business ▪️Social Security # required to register to vote; a Driver’s License alone is not sufficient ▪️If a voter moves to another state & registers to vote, that new state must inform the previous state of the new voter registration; this is followed by imminent cancellation of the previous registration *While I understand many Americans’ desire for one day voting, I ask for voters to take some circumstances into consideration: If we were only to allow for one day of voting, that limits police officers, pilots, nurses, doctors, members of the military, the elderly or infirmed, Election Day Workers, & businessmen to vote in our elections. This also includes the millions of expatriates that are still American citizens. Ultimately, we would be limiting millions of conservative voices from voting. Using Pennsylvania as an example, 3.5 million voters gave their votes to President Trump in 2024. Senator-Elect Dave McCormick won his seat by 15,000 votes. Is it possible that 15,000 of those 3.5 million people could not vote on Election Day, but — b/c we had early/mail-in voting — were able to cast their votes & defeat democrat Bob Casey? Yes, I believe that is rational & logical reasoning. The 119th Congress must make it a priority to reform our elections immediately upon taking office in 2025.
