Por mucho que ahora intenten venderlo como el movimiento inteligente, la realidad es que Crosby es superior en todo, y por eso estaban dispuestos a soltar dos primeras rondas. No es un tema de ahorro ni de oportunidad, porque Hendrickson tampoco sale barato. Lo que de verdad chirría es la nula transparencia de los Ravens en este proceso. No tiene sentido pasarte días revisando informes médicos y hablando con cirujanos para luego "sorprenderte" en el reconocimiento físico cuando el jugador ya está allí. Ese historial médico ya estaba sobre la mesa hace días. Filtrar ahora que a largo plazo la rodilla generaba dudas suena más a excusa para tapar una planificación que se ha roto en el último segundo que a una sorpresa real de sus médicos. Al final, han preferido la seguridad de la agencia libre por puro miedo a repetir errores del pasado con jugadores lesionados, pero el precio ha sido renunciar a uno de los talentos más dominantes de la NFL.
