I think Tio, Renne, Altina, and Millium are all well written characters from the trails series and they have cute designs. They look and act nothing like real children to me.

@arminsfingers @allenvonghornet Should trails in the sky the 3rd be banned because a child girl character is sex trafficked even though the entire segment is written from her perspective as a traumatized child who copes through dissociative identity disorder? Her entire story is about her overcoming her trauma.

@Bitchesluvcans @Foxman671 Wikipedia isn’t a source. The term is based on Lolita but there are plenty of adult anime characters with that body type so it’s more accurate to reference the body type. Also throwing around the word pedo at people is both immature and offensive to real victims of child abuse.

idk why people keep calling me pro-censorship, but the narrative twisting is getting ridiculous. i’m not against all fictional stuff or adult expression. i’m not even against loli in general. a lot of it is just petite women. i PERSONALLY find heavy sexualized loli weird, but i don’t condemn it unless the characters are clearly depicted as minors. i do draw a hard line at content that sexualizes actual child-like bodies, especially toddler-coded ones. whether real or not, drawn, ai, whatever. if it’s designed to look like a toddler in a sexual context, the attraction being targeted is still toward childlike features. changing the medium doesn’t fix that. “no real kids were harmed” misses the bigger issue. this stuff can normalize and feed harmful patterns. that’s why i’m anti cp-depicting art when it comes to clearly underage stuff. the world isn’t black and white. also, zero credible sources on the arrest claims. the timing with the emergency commissions push is pretty convenient too. if it was indeed that serious, they wouldn’t be back online this fast. i should’ve done more research prior to my post, on their arrest. not twisting anything, just saying what i see. last time i’m talking about this.

@Bitchesluvcans @Foxman671 That’s just not true. Lolicons like the loli body type. Loli is just an anime character that is petite, short, and small bust to flat. I enjoy yuri art and stories which is girl love. That doesn’t make me gay. Just like playing GTA doesn’t make someone a wannabe murderer.

Lolicon is someone that likes characters with that body type in nsfw art. You don’t have to like it. I just don’t get the moral outrage over fictional art.

I almost want to see their reaction. That dog art is tame compared to what you can buy in Japan.

@Foxman671 I honestly don’t get it either. I saw the character in question and she just doesn’t look like a real child to me. No child has a stylized nose like that or eyes that big or simplified hair like that. The neck is too small, the legs too long. The proportions aren’t realistic.

I just don’t see why someone should go to jail over a character that looks nothing like a real child regardless of what that character is doing in the image. Unless it’s a realistic 3D image.

It’s not just the face that’s off. Legs are too long. Virtually every part of an anime character‘s body loli or not is exaggerated.
