Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi ji, through his address in the Lok Sabha today, articulated a principle that stands above partisan politics. The women of India cannot be seen as mere beneficiaries of representation as their place in Parliament and State legislatures is a matter of constitutional right and democratic justice. The Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam stands as an affirmation of that national commitment. India has already witnessed a massive transformation at the grassroots where lakhs of women have emerged as capable public representatives in villages, municipalities and local bodies. The natural progression of that democratic journey is their greater presence in Parliament and State Assemblies. The deeper force of the Prime Minister’s address lay in the question of intent. He made it clear that the women of India will look beyond the text of this reform and judge the sincerity with which the nation acts upon it. By moving forward with clarity and conviction, the nation has an opportunity to affirm that India’s democratic future will be shaped not by delay, but by trust, inclusion and equal partnership. विपक्ष, विशेषकर @INCIndia द्वारा परिसीमन (Delimitation) को लेकर फैलाई जा रही भ्रामक आशंकाओं का माननीय गृह एवं सहकारिता मंत्री श्री @AmitShah जी ने तथ्यों के साथ स्पष्ट खंडन किया है। Delimitation को लेकर विपक्ष पूरे देश को गुमराह करने की साजिश कर रहा है, जो कभी सफल होने वाला नहीं है। यह कहना कि इससे दक्षिण या किसी भी राज्य के साथ अन्याय होगा, केवल एक भ्रामक राजनीतिक agenda है, जिसे विपक्ष अपने संकीर्ण स्वार्थों के लिए आगे बढ़ा रहा है। दुर्भाग्यपूर्ण यह है कि जिन लोगों ने वर्षों तक सत्ता के दौरान लोकतांत्रिक संस्थाओं को कमजोर किया, संविधान की भावना के साथ समझौता किया और आपातकाल के समय लोकतंत्र को कुचलने का काम किया वही आज लोकतंत्र के नाम पर डर और भ्रम पैदा कर रहे हैं। लेकिन भारत की जनता अब पूरी तरह जागरूक है और ऐसे हर प्रयास को पहचानती है। परिसीमन के नाम पर देश को क्षेत्रीय आधार पर बाँटने या राजनीतिक अस्थिरता पैदा करने की यह कोशिश न पहले सफल हुई है, न आगे कभी होगी।

Hon’ble Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation Shri @AmitShah ji has placed the delimitation debate on clear constitutional footing. The rise in southern states’ representation from 23.76% to 23.90% itself reflects a proportionate and equitable approach. Delimitation is about protecting federal balance and democratic fairness, not political narratives. India’s cooperative federalism must remain above selective apprehensions.
