Marie Curie's overnight nursing service that offers palliative care in Ipswich and Suffolk will end after an NHS trust withdrew funding. “The service supported 470 patients and delivered 15,385 hours of vital care in the last financial year.” “The charity said it could not continue delivering its care without the grant and the organisation's local leaders were consulting with staff and also speaking with the ICB to ensure patient care was not affected when the service ends.” bbc.co.uk/news/articles/…

As #MindYourHead draws to a close we want to shine a spotlight on some of the unsung champions of rural wellbeing. They may not be household names, but they have worked quietly and tirelessly to shift attitudes and ultimately, save lives... Starting in England and there is no one more worthy of the title 'hero' than Melinda Raker MBE... 💛 bit.ly/4rxYqWt #MindYourHead #SuicidePrevention #Hope

Shocked at this reply from the Prime Minister. He was asked if he’s aware of farmers are actively planning to ‘expedite’ their own deaths before April to avoid IHT? PM: “I have had discussions with a number of individuals who have drawn all manner of things to my attention.”

Labour MPs continue to highlight the unfairness of the family farm tax, and particularly the forestalling clause, for elderly and terminally-ill farmers. @BenGoldsborough told the House that Labour could be a party for rural Britain, but only if they protect family farms.

To Labour MPs: We ask you to abstain on Budget Resolution 50. With your help, we can show the government there is still time to get it right on the family farm tax. A policy with such cruel human costs demands change. Now is the time to stand up for the farmers you represent.

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received that changed your perspective?
