The National Testing Agency (NTA) has noted certain messages circulating on social media and messaging platforms claiming a "leak," advance access, or "sale" of the NEET (UG) 2026 re-examination question paper. These claims are false, fraudulent, and intended to mislead. Such content is the work of organised cheating rackets that prey on the anxiety of students and their families. Their objective is to extort money by selling fake "papers," and every such claim circulating is a fabrication. NTA wishes to make the following absolutely clear: 1. The integrity of the examination process is fully intact, and every safeguard is in place to ensure a fair and secure examination for all candidates. 2. NTA is actively identifying and reporting the offending channels, accounts, and content to the concerned platforms and to cyber-crime authorities for immediate takedown and action. 3. NTA is filing a formal complaint with law-enforcement and cyber-crime authorities. Creating, circulating, or forwarding such fraudulent content — and attempting to defraud students — is a serious punishable offence, and strict action will be taken against those responsible. 4. Candidates and parents are strongly advised not to engage with, pay, or forward any such message, and not to fall prey to these fraudulent solicitations. We urge all aspirants to ignore these rumours and to rely solely on official communication issued by NTA through its verified website and channels. Hon’ble Union Minister of Education Shri Dharmendra Pradhan chaired a review meeting at CBSE Headquarters, Dwarka, New Delhi today. The meeting was attended by the Secretary, DoSEL, CBSE Chairperson, Directors of IIT Madras and IIT Kanpur, along with senior officers from MoE, KVS, PSBs and CBSE. In the meeting, the progress of the CBSE Class XII evaluation and post-result processes was discussed and reviewed. Deliberations focused on providing student friendly re- evaluation portal, strengthening CBSE’s digital platforms, enhancing student exam and result facilitation mechanisms, and improving evaluation and monitoring systems. Stakeholders also highlighted measures undertaken for student support and outlined future plans for robust, transparent and technology-enabled service delivery aimed at greater student benefit.

The online application portal for obtaining scanned copies of Class XII answer books is now functioning smoothly, and applications are being submitted successfully. 1,27,146 applications for obtaining 3,87,399 scanned answer books were submitted successfully by 7:30 pm on 20.05.26, that is, within 3 hours of the portal being opened. Students may continue to avail the facility through the link: pvr.cbseit.in/pvr/

@cbseindia29 We don't need counselling and that we, students are not going to invest even a single penny in re evaluation and we demand re checking of answer books. You have done wrong this year, with 2026 batch students. Either you re check the papers and physically, not in yours OSM ...😡

Message to Students It appears from social media posts that many students of class XII Board are anxious about their results/marks and are attributing it to change of assessment scheme i.e. On-Screen Marking (OSM) mechanism re-introduced this year. The Board is extremely sensitive to their concerns and is alive to addressing it accordingly. The CBSE reiterates that student well-being is of paramount importance and, therefore, has attempted to address all possible issues which could arise. The key benefits of OSM are uniformity in evaluation with adherence to the marking scheme prepared by experienced CBSE teachers. The marking scheme also contains alternative methods of answering so that children who answer deploying alternative methods are also graded. If any student feels dissatisfied with the result, there are clear and transparent avenues available, including verification of marks, access to evaluated answer books, and re-evaluation. For those feeling anxious or uncertain, tele-counselling support (1800-11-8004) is also available. They may also reach out through the email resultcbse2026@gmail.com. We would encourage students and parents to directly use these official channels to seek clarity and support, for any unanswered doubts.
