@NikTek Chinese devs are just better and if a gacha wants to compete with genshin and wuwa they need to really push hard because those are 2 titans to defeat. Arknights endfield is the closest to AAA going very similar to final fantasy remake quality

I'm confused, why does this free gacha game seemingly have better looking water than some AAA games?

@RyuukuSensei The game is very pretty and fun but i feel like everything feels a bit off like not the right amount of impact in fights, driving and climbing. But the animations are a bit too fast yet super fun and enjoyable, very well animated and great humor

@Fishlover0747 I only played 1hr but an arcade hall with funny mini games, more impact and combos in fights. Other than that they should make everything feel smoother almost everything is slightly janky or off controlling.

What NTE can improve upon IMO: -Driving -Climbing cuz it's so janky -More impact when hitting enemies -Let us drive bikes, helicopters & other viable transportation -Destructible cars -Killable cops -Add double jump button -Better walking animations for NPCs Other suggestions?

@idonotexistelol The worst was the gamecube era mario sunshine and smash bros melee were known for being bugged smash bros was so bugged it made one of the most known mechanics unintentionally like wavedash, these games were rushed to release as early to gamecube as possible.

@CEOOfCarlotta You mean that you only care about gambling and the addiction locks you out from enjoying any game. Just play the game and not work for a slot machine. If you don't care about the characters you are lucky to be able to bound more to gameplay and have a complete f2p experience

NTE is giving me the same feel as arknights endfield where all of the pulls seem locked behind like 80 hours of gameplay the story sucks and none of the characters interest me.

@dollzls The problem is the presentation is so bad and way too long with not a very high quality compared to almost every other game released after that, thats why i quit in fontaine. Sumeru was one of the worst experiences ever but aside from that it's a genius and thought out.

genshin has the best lore out of any hoyoverse game (yes, even star rail!) but so much of it is never appreciated because half the community refuses to engage with world quests

@shaggytoph @Wario64 After switch failed with key cards i got more into playstation again to preserve the discs but as it seems sony has no interest in that and i dont think the ps6 will have any way to preserve because the handheld will probably rely on the digital games not being able to use discs

@Wario64 Was planning to move from Xbox to PlayStation for preservation reasons… guess not. Sooner or later PlayStation will do the same — no physical games sold, always online to validate physical games, mandatory internet connection once a month, etc. Xbox all over again. F big corpo

@GachaSmack After playing wuwa and zzz i love nte, the optimization is really bad worse then both but i just enjoy being able to drive and be free, graphics are phenomenal and the city design is just beautiful. Animations in the 1st hour was overwhelming but really cool

NTE first day impressions (only based off of 4-5 hours of play time) ✅ Pros - Good Music - Incredible Presentation - Metropolis World Design Feels Fresh - Decently Polished & Refined - Incredible Launch Incentives - Boss Fights are unique & creative (need to experience higher end ones) - Racing controls feel exceptional - combat is enjoyable - A number of Skins can be acquired without spending money. - Toggling off dupes and choosing which ones to activate is insane - protagonist talks most of the time - graphics look unique and incredible (colorgasm) - Feels like there’s a lot of stuff to try out for map activities. Racing, fishing, coffee shop, uber service, crime fighting, doing crime yourself, dating etc. 🛑 Cons - Dialogue was a bit of a drag after all the cinema in that 1st hour. World building is typically like that in 1.0 gacha’s in my personal experience. Not sure if it’s a permanent shoot the shit fest or if we are going somewhere with it 🤷🏽‍♂️ - Combat on players side might feel numbing if you come from other open world gacha’s. This is a reoccurring theme in the space. - Open World Exploration might feel numbing if this is your 2nd or 3rd open world gacha (metropolis dynamic does help a lot TBF). Another reoccurring theme. - You might not care for the casual activities and dating. 🌟 Closing thoughts Ultimately, I’ve actually been impressed with the day 1 experience in comparison to the beta test I played like 6 months ago. NTE has improved a great deal. What I’m looking forward to the most is the endgame anomaly fights, the property purchasing & designing, and the car collecting & racing. I’d also like to get invested into the story with the high quality cinema they’re capable of, but that remains to happen as of now. Still super early. 🤌🏼

I am sick of this line being thrown around everywhere. Yes there are shitty companies like Ubisoft They don't put the full data on the disc but guess what other companies do. about these all the data is available on it and can be played with no first patch offline.

Hoyoverse has added Steam API DLL to Genshin Impact in the files without notice or announcement. Means this game could finally coming to Steam release in this year or later a year. Hoyoverse confirmed ZZZ will release on Steam and remove separate launcher. Also Honkai Star Rail may be included and coming to Steam.
