Tesla India ⚡ today contacted some of the 2016 Model 3 🔋 Reservation Holders and it seems like they will be cancelling their reservations. These reservations were for original Model 3 which no longer exists & hence are being cancelled. @Tesla will open orders for India later this year. We hope Reservation Holders will get the first chance @elonmusk .

Well since you keep asking, here's it⚡. Rough guesstimate of impact of 15% vs 110% import duties👀 on Tesla. At 15% duty: Model 3 can range between ₹33-50L Model Y between ₹50-60L At 110% duty: Model 3 will be between ₹60-90L Model Y between ₹90L-₹1cr+ Model Y is newly launched hence prices might be higher in the countries. We have taken Model 3 from Australia (duty free from China). We have taken Model Y from Berlin in UK (RHD, seems duty free), considering the possibility of Y coming from there.
