#InternationalMensDay at ICRISAT!
ICRISAT teams across Africa marked Men’s Day 2025 with activities that highlighted compassion, environmental stewardship, and the vital role of men in strengthening food and nutrition security.
At the Alupe Field Station in #Kenya, staff visited a local children’s home and donated value-added millet products. At Kiboko, male staff planted trees to promote environmental conservation.
In #Zimbabwe, under the theme “Men Enhancing Food Security,” staff planted sorghum to highlight its role in resilient food systems. In #Malawi, the day focused on gender inclusivity and team-building, with activities that encouraged men to promote equality and healthy workplace dynamics.

ICRISAT organized the three-day Consultation Workshop on Legume Plant and Soil Health for the Entire Legume Value Chain in partnership with Ethiopian Institute of Agricultural Research (@InstituteEiar) from 18–20 November 2025.
