@melissa_TVjunky Depending where you are, grocery stores are desperately looking for help. Try that. It's not permanent but will at least help. If you have a Kroger nearby, they pay weekly (every Thursday, direct deposit).

I was already #unemployed before the Coronavirus hit. Now finding a job is going to be damn near impossible. Savings are gone & the food delivery service I signed up with doesn't have openings in the schedule. I don't know what I'm going to do. I'm starting to worry.

@melissa_TVjunky I haven't been the grocery store since the shut down yet. My MIL is the driver (I don't do manual well). We're going to discover that hell tomorrow. Unprecedented but they opened up grocery stores on Sundays.

@melissa_TVjunky The wedding went really well. Right now I'm on a letter of stay, I guess you could call it. The gov is essentially shut down, but they immigration office is sending a letter stating I'm here legally. Got married on day 87 of 90.

Read a FB post shaming ppl for stocking up on processed foods. Look, I don't care if you're eating organic kale, frozen pizza or canned spaghetti. If you're making an effort to put food on your table, especially during this difficult time, I applaud you. #foodshortage #COVID19

@SouthOfGrace Yep. The conservatives control because they were never held feet to fire. And Americans are so uneducated...we don't know about the way we've been taught to think. So many Gen Z people I know sound like mid-Boomers. Because they both spread memes as news facts. It's alarming.

@RamblingReality Honestly the death of the Fairness Doctrine really has given way to this disgusting corporate overlord media narrative. It's why here in America things like Universal healthcare and affordable college are seen as radical. The corporations have done their job well.

Now it's a 2 way race between an old white guy who proposed cuts to entitlements & wrote the '94 Crime Bill, & an old white guy who had a heart attack & refuses to see his problem with black voters . I will vote for either of them in the general but can't say I'm glad about it.

@SouthOfGrace I read sources of stories. Do a little digging. People say 'I don't watch Fox!' but will tweet The Daily Fail or RT. People assume the best...at best. I mention them because they feed US news now. Corps owned by a society who enjoys a decimated fair news doctrine. Comcast alone.

@RamblingReality I don't think people have a firm grasp of HOW MUCH corporate America works to influence opinion. Every major cable news organization is a corporation. Most small town TV stations are owned under a corporate umbrella. Same with small town newspapers. It's really awful

@RamblingReality @humanworkplace Really? I wonder why employers do this. As a plus-sized, Black woman who lives in a predominantly white area I feel incredibly discouraged when I see ads like that. Like, why am I going to give then a reason to discriminate against me??? Fat-phobia & racism are real!

Maybe I'm just really old school but I hate when #employers ask you to submit a photograph along with your resume. Why do you need to know what I look like before you decide if you want to interview me for the Office Assistant position? Any thoughts @humanworkplace? #jobhunting

I find it intriguing that so many blue checked Sanders supporters are blaming Warren or black ppl for his losses when Warren supporters are equally split on their second choice. Also, it would have benefited Sanders greatly to actually reach out to black voters. He didn't do that
