here's abyss tamer in action. lane positioning, ability targeting, passive triggers, taming, sfx. all running through one pure game engine. the core loop is almost there. pick your lanes, choose your abilities, survive the depth, tame what you can. still polishing but the game plays now. not a prototype, not a mockup. a real run.

overhauled the entire visual layer. new card frames, creature art, backgrounds, stat badges, talent labels, combat log. everything got touched. the animations and ui were already in a good place. cards float, passives trigger with feedback, turn order reads clean. that part just needed polish not a rebuild. now the visuals finally match the systems underneath. 24 modules, pure game engine, seeded rng, full combat pipeline. the math and tuning have been solid for weeks. it was always the look that was lagging behind. game is coming together now. feels like a real game, not a prototype with good code behind it

been thinking about why traction is still low on @AnvilProtocol. my guess is wallet connection. most people hesitate the moment they see "connect wallet" on a new platform. can't blame them going to brainstorm some upgrades around that. maybe let users explore everything before connecting. maybe redesign the trust signals. not sure yet if you've visited anvil and didn't connect, what held you back? genuinely want to know. drop your thoughts

built something cool for creators launching on anvil you can now set how many top holders get fee distributions: anywhere from 100 to 512 wallets default is 100 but if you want broader distribution, crank it up. set it at launch, locked per vault the system tracks holders by balance, ranks them, and only the top N you chose get paid each epoch. no wasted compute on wallets that don't matter smaller community? keep it tight at 100. bigger token with wide distribution? go 512 and reward more of your holders it's your vault, your rules

@trawldotxyz update: overhauled the info architecture on our prediction market panel. sub-market brackets are now inline instead of hidden behind accordions. closed markets separated into their own collapsible section. added visual type differentiation: amber borders for range/multi, purple for cross-platform cards. tag pills, countdowns on cross-platform cards. whole thing was one component, ~30 lines net. shipped.

trawl update: testing prediction markets locally before pushing to prod. Polymarket, Kalshi, and Metaculus all feeding into trawl now live probabilities, volume, and liquidity right next to your research. three APIs, three rate limits, three different response shapes. Circuit breakers on each so one going down doesn't break the rest. Redis cache so we're not slamming their endpoints every request.
