It's kind of crazy how at this time in the universe, Darth Vader is at his prime. Not the same as when we saw him in the originals.

$SATS Quiet here — too quiet. I expect continued chatter and lopsided price action leading up to the $SPCX IPO. I continue long w/ 5,500 shares @ $75 EchoStar will continue to get discounted by the street, and the 30% short interest is concentrated w/ dark pool inflow from institutions hedging IPO lock ups. Catalysts: AWS-3 paired spectrum sale IRC 1033 treatment on Spectrum sales (AT&T/SpaceX) w/ proceeds rolling over into related assets Dish/DirecTV merger - NewCo (Public) + debt obligations gone from EchoStar Boost synergy as hybrid MNO w/ SpaceX (Speculative), could happen considering AT&T/Verizon/T Mobile are in JV. 30% short interest into large catalyst (IPO) and post IPO performance — Unwinding delta hedge. Want to be clear: Ergen has no plans of selling SpaceX stock. Newly formed EchoStar Capital — will make series of investments w/ windfall from spectrum sales. Additional Spectrum and OpCo sales carve out remaining debt service (converts etc.) EchoStar will continue to unwind OpCos and remaining spectrum assets Additional spectrum assets also worth more than market assumes: 76 MHz of spectrum across AWS-3 (paired 1.7/2.1 GHz, ~21 MHz, 700 MHz low-band, CBRS (~5,500 PAL licenses covering most of the US population), and millimeter wave. Market prices EchoStar as conglomerate TelCo with terminal decline. Market misses: EchoStar Treasury/Capital — a future where EchoStar balance sheet and operations are mostly / fully monetized. Simply put, NAV per share is completely undervalued — market deeply discounting optionality. NAV currently is SpaceX stake discounted, and negative EV to entire operating company / remaining assets + proforma net cash from (AT&T/SpaceX) spectrum closings.

@TSLASince2019 @BDeveran I imagine it will rise with the lockup schedule which releases shares for sale incrementally. As long time SpaceX holders who hedged get the right to cash out they will unwind their hedges pushing up $SATS

@TSLASince2019 @BDeveran Short interest has kept growing as the IPO gets closer and more certain. Hedging seems the obvious reason.

@JoeTegtmeyer It makes sense that it's huge, 10 million bots a year is almost 3 times the number of children born in the US each year. They will come out the door productive workers. That factory will change the whole economy.

Big news at the new Optimus 10m/y factory construction site today! The 1st steel structure has been erected & as expected the second phase of land reclamation is underway. This will allow this new factory to grow to nearly the same length as the main Giga Texas factory, although it will be a few hundred feet (~50 - 70 m) narrower. If you did not realize the massive size of this new factory, this should tell you all you need to know! A lot of steel beams & columns were being delivered to the site today and using the new staging yard in the nearby “lone tree” field. Check out this short clip showing the expansion, the steel structure & more of the foundation work!

@ronmortgageguy @BrettBinbrook It's fairer to say that China is rightly maxing every source of energy it has available, solar, battery, nuclear and coal. Energy is literally power in every sense of the word, Canada lost the plot on that.

@BrettBinbrook Understood Coal usage dropping a tiny 1.5% means 98.5% is going strong & is likely just a lie or using more soft coal & less Metallurgical Oh & if you believe the 100% phased out Bullshit you better arrange for a Conservator for your affairs you're too dumb to handle money

Oppenheimer's "Now I am become Death, the destroyer of worlds" quote was nice aura farming, but it pales in comparison to Feynman realizing that eye protection was unnecessary when already behind glass, and then viewing Trinity with his naked eyes from the seat of a truck.

@volisdead With as much as 36% of the float short (more than double what it was before the SpaceX spectrum sale) don't you think $SATS shoots up when they can sell their locked up shares and unwind the $SATS shorts?

$SATS feels like a v interesting situation here imo. On one hand if spaceX ipo prices high it trades at a big discount. On the other hand it’s an obvious funding vehicle if you’re long private shares and want to sell locked shares

@RokkerBoyy It's the stupidest argument I've heard in awhile. Akin to saying people were Apple fans because they loved Steve Jobs. People like results that push the limits of innovation and by extention the people who make them happen.

Wait... he thinks most people are cheering on Starship because of Elon?
PebMets@PebMet1

I know @SpaceX and @elonmusk followers will not be honest: If it were @NASA , @ulalaunch, @blueorigin developing Starship, would you still follow it? Most of you would say it is a piece of junk or what are we doing if it were anyone else but SpaceX/Musk developing it.

@twillis209 @JonathanGiglio @johndurant Armstrong publicly smeared her as a "prostitute" and "alcoholic." The lawsuit dragged on for years, threatening to bankrupt her. All Emma O'Reilly did was tell the truth about what he did

@JonathanGiglio @johndurant Armstrong was a massive bully on top of being a cheat in a field of them, ask Greg LeMond, Christophe Bassons, Betsy Andreu, or Emma O'Reilly. He tried to destroy anyone who threatened his lies.

The big winner of the Enhanced Games was, in a sense, Lance Armstrong. PEDs don’t automatically turn someone into a record breaking athlete. Or even a winning athlete. All the top cyclists back then were on something, but he was the one who won.

I can only speak for myself but I would root for anyone developing a vehicle like Starship and that's why I root for SpaceX. I'm pretty certain blue is cooking stuff for a reusable second stage and a crew spacecraft but it's pretty difficult to follow because we don't know anything about it
