@japan_nobunaga Mine's a basement freezer... I'm in Kansas and it's a longer drive for me to go to the store. So when I do, I stock up. There are also items that can be put in the freezer for longevity that some might not consider. Sales, meal planning, etc.

This fascinates me 🇯🇵→🇺🇸 The American garage deep freezer. Not the kitchen fridge — the big one in the garage, packed like a vault. Meat. Corn. Mystery containers from 2022. In Japan, homes are small. A second freezer feels almost mythical. So honestly: what do you ACTUALLY keep in there? And is it practical… or a personality? Hello from Japan 🇯🇵 Something about America still confuses me. When I ask how far something is, Americans almost never say the miles. You say: "It's about 45 minutes." "Two hours, depending on traffic." In Japan we usually answer in distance. Kilometers. Exact. Is time really how you FEEL distance in America? I'm not joking — I genuinely want to understand. How do YOU answer "how far?" where you live?

For months, fewer and fewer people have been seeing our rescues. In the last 7 months, our X family has grown by only around 600 followers. Over the last 3 months, we've gained fewer than 100 new followers. That means countless rescued animals are no longer reaching the people who might have helped them. The animals haven't stopped needing help... They've simply stopped being seen. Today, I'm not asking you for a donation. I'm asking you to become their voice. Please repost, quote, comment on, and share our posts whenever you can. One share could introduce TAWF to someone who has never heard of us before. That one person could become the reason another injured dog is rescued, another frightened mother finds safety, or another hungry animal gets the care they desperately need. Please help our rescued animals reach the people who haven't discovered them yet. ❤️🐾

Genuine question from Japan 🇯🇵 I heard that on quiet American back roads, people wave at every car that passes. Even strangers. Even if you'll never see them again. In Japan, waving at random cars would feel… extremely weird. Is this still a real thing? And what does the wave actually MEAN — hello, courtesy, "I see you," something else? I'd love to hear it from people who actually do this.

This girl is cruising down the highway in her stick shift, windows down, wind in her hair, belting out songs while she shifts gears without missing a beat. She looks genuinely happy and in control. Most people these days never learn how to drive manual. It takes real timing and coordination to get the clutch and gas right, especially when you’re just trying to have fun and sing along. Seeing her do it so naturally makes you realize how much of that skill is disappearing. Do you think driving stick is becoming a lost art, or do you still think it’s worth teaching people even if almost every new car is automatic?

More than 100 dead dogs were found in a South Carolina home. The people responsible need to be put in prison for life. There is absolutely no excuse for this type of abuse towards animals.
