Ta bueno este artículo y quizás deberíamos desde la Neurociencia plantear el estudio del cerebro como la explicación de su actividad en los niveles que proponen los autores. Y es que estos autores sostienen que la neurociencia clásica ha logrado enormes avances estudiando el cerebro en condiciones altamente controladas (como animales inmovilizados y tareas simples), permitiendo identificar mecanismos fundamentales del funcionamiento cerebral. Sin embargo, al igual que ocurrió con los experimentos conductistas de Skinner, este enfoque sacrifica validez ecológica, ya que el cerebro no evolucionó para responder a estímulos aislados en un laboratorio, sino para desenvolverse en entornos dinámicos y socialmente complejos. Entonces, y aquí viene lo interesting, el artículo propone los 4 niveles de Niko Tinbergen: 1. Mecanismo -Cómo funciona un proceso neuronal? Función -Qué ventaja adaptativa proporciona? Desarrollo (ontogenia) - Cómo se adquiere y modifica a lo largo de la vida? Evolución (filogenia) - Por qué evolucionó ese mecanismo? Y ya luego, los autores señalan datos experimentales de cómo el cerebro presenta estas características: - La actividad neuronal es contextual - Movimiento y cognición son inseparables - Selectividad mixta (mixed selectivity) - Social Ledger Esta última mantienen que el cerebro actua como un "contable social" que registra la reciprocidad, la confianza y las relaciones entre individuos Y ya, siempre es bueno recordar esto y darle un poquito de marco teórico :) Fuente: cell.com/trends/cogniti…
