Since 1995 I've used #3dsmax Then @Autodesk went to #SaaS, they keep increasing price and dialing back features. I never thought I would say it, but we are going to test #Blender out.

So I gave the @Apple Magic #Mouse a try (3 months). Most atrocious and stupid piece of #tech ever. I literally swapped it for a 10 dollar corded mouse and felt relief. Charging hole is on the bottom...so you can't even use it while charging. Hand cramps... #Fyuck

Busy day. Moving all the #ZBrush and #3DSMax assets from the old box to the new is quite a job. We also got another box with a @nvidia RTX 3090 What that means is render time went form 30 min to 3-5 sec per frame. So this game got a booster shot! :D

Suggestion: For those using #VSCode. Stop calling it #visualstudio in places like @StackOverflow It makes if really confusing when people search for solutions for Visual Studio only to find it is actually about it's bastard cousin :) @Microsoft rename VS Code

Version control is one of the most important aspects of #gamedev Unfortunately it is usually very sloppily done. I always loved @perforce when I worked as a driver developer. Going to try Helix Core on our game project starting tomorrow.
