@LittleKeegs0 @lxeagle17 What are you on about?! No one graduates from med school "rich" before they've started their practice. Vast majority of docs in this country pay off huge medical school debt until they are 50, if lucky. Educate yourself to facts and statistics with Google.

@BGM_22 @lxeagle17 Most docs live as very middle class because of their uniquely huge medical school debt. Only a small % are superstars & rich - just like with all professions. Best friend here in Los Angeles is a white, 60 yo ER doc and paid off his school debt at age 52 - very normal.

@lxeagle17 It’s one of the most inefficient “charitable” uses of $1 billion imaginable. I think “repulsive” is unfair, but it’s definitely deeply, deeply misguided.

@hansmollman I was feeling similar recently, but I’ve realised it means it’s alternative to plastic, and therefore more environmentally friendly. Weird wording though, it took me a while to click!
