Maybe if enough people leave he can go back to making good cars. This will be my last post here; I'll just be spending less time on social media.

I uninstalled Twitter from my phone a couple weeks back. It's gotten significantly worse since then with bans for linking to other platforms and banning reporters for linking to publicly available information that Elon doesn't like.

@ne0liberal Should we no longer allow mailed votes postmarked on election day if they arrive late?

There is no fraud but it is genuinely bad for democracy that we can’t count the votes and announce the winner on election night

@BenChapmanMagic I was a bit surprised at the whole level of bitterness there. I guess you could be annoyed at having the RCV option added but the huge organizational and voter support shown for RCV pretty much vindicates the council's decision. In the end I'm glad they were out there for YES.

This is a genuinely fun, welcoming movement to be part of. There's a place for everyone and more than enough work to go around. These are just my opinions, of course. Nothing official. Anyway, thanks for reading, I guess, and please wish us the best as more returns come in :)

This RCV vs AV thing in Seattle was... something... and I want to be VERY clear about the facts as I see them since some fellow reformers have raised questions. I think a lot of questions can be answered with a clearer picture of the timeline. So here goes... ⬇️⬇️⬇️

There are still many ballots to count, but we feel good that our momentum is strong. Every phone call, door-knock, and text made a difference. Thank you to every volunteer and every ally who stepped up to talk to their friends and neighbors.

🔴 Election reform just took the lead in Seattle! While we already know that Seattle wants #RankedChoiceVoting, the outcome on Question 1 is too close to call. After ballots dropped today, we jumped out to a 1,797 vote lead!

@Beyond2Parties @loganb Or it could have done worse. I think it's pretty clear there are a lot of confounding factors as results vary wildly by city. I'm worried that this is the lesson you're trying to take away here because it's going to make you even more hostile to RCV when there is no reason to be.

@Beyond2Parties @loganb I'm not surprised you were able to find some supporters who were rude. There are a lot of supporters to pick from! It's just sad to see more people sucked into negativity.

@Beyond2Parties @loganb RCV passed by 82% in Evanston. Also it is interesting that you are ignoring the only real-world result we have that asks voters which system they prefer.

@loganb @Beyond2Parties You can hold yourself to a higher standard than those people. The most negativity I have heard in this entire campaign is from you.

@RandomEngy @Beyond2Parties I’m old enough to remember when I was accuse, personally, of coming to take voting rights from people of color. It’s almost like folks waged a really negative campaign…

@RandomEngy It’s mostly packed ice I think. Because blue ice, while slipperier, melts in the sun and I don’t bother to cover my racetracks :)

@slightlylate NextJS does some cool stuff like automatic page-level bundling and routing, and seamless integration of SSR, SG, and client-side rendering. I wish it weren't tied to React though.
