@Olszewski_RJO So how is he doing that by promising to contribute to ukraines next wave of donations of £78 billion? It doesn’t make sense, he’s taxing his countries residents an arm and a leg, this countries people are struggling and yet he helps other countries?

Keir Starmer, has a 5-year mandate to rebuild our economy, repair our public services, & make our country safer and fairer. He inherited a wrecked economy, wrecked public finances, wrecked public services. Will take time to repair. ALL Labour MPs should be supporting him in this

@Keir_Starmer Why should our children want to study in other countries? I thought the uk had the most prestigious universities in the world. Your decisions have made working class parents of those future children in a dire situation, so now you want to ship those children out of the country

Hope resides in our young people. But Brexit has held them back. They should be able to live, work and study in Europe, which is exactly what our Youth Experience Scheme will deliver. This is part of rebuilding a stronger relationship with Europe. That's the Labour choice.

These are tough results for Labour. There’s no sugarcoating it. We’ve lost brilliant Labour representatives who’ve stood up for their communities. People are still frustrated. Their lives aren’t changing fast enough. We haven’t offered enough hope or optimism for the future. I was elected to change this country - tough days like this don’t weaken my determination to do that. They strengthen it.

No matter what they say, Reform UK will only let down the working class. They voted against our better deal for workers. With your support, we got it done. Only Labour will work for working people. Vote Labour 🌹

@Keir_Starmer @Ed_Miliband But if you apply a windfall tax, you are indirectly increasing the cost to the consumer because the energy company isn’t going to shy away from profits, ever. They will pass on that cost to the consumer as they want a profit margin regardless.

Before the war in Iran I made clear: it is only fair that we have a windfall tax when energy companies make windfall profits, so we can help families with the cost of living. The Tories, Reform, SNP all oppose it. Only this Labour government stands up for working people.

The cost of living is the number one issue families are facing at the moment. That's why we're going all out for cheap, clean, homegrown power that we control, to bring down energy bills for good.

@LeonardBriscoe3 Yea, leading the world into shambles. The UK only contribute a fraction of the worlds emissions, getting to net zero would do absolutely nothing to help prevent global warming or ‘saving the planet’. Pointless.

@Keir_Starmer Think they’re more worried about affording to keep a roof over their child’s heads what with the increase of council tax’s, tax’s in general and now fuel prices. Fucking hell, they’ll give their child a fucking iPad with instagram on it all day long.

I know parents are worried about social media and its impact on their children’s safety. They rightly expect fast action. Today, I’m calling on senior leaders from X, Meta, Snap, YouTube and TikTok to step up. I will do whatever it takes to keep children safe online.

@Ed_Miliband What are you doing to get the electricity kWh prices back to pre-covid level? Will all this new renewable energy actually drop the cost to the consumer? Or will you still be taxing the living daylight out of the energy suppliers who pass the cost onto the consumer?

@darrengrimes LOOK GUYS, OTHER COUNTRIES WILL SEE THAT THE UK HAS TURNED TO DOGSHIT SND THEIR GOVERNMENT IS CAUSING INCREASED POVERTY AND HUGE ENERGY BILLS, LOOK LOOK, WE SHOULD DO THAT TOO!! Err no we shouldn’t, our people wouldn’t tolerate such madness, we will eventually go bust.

@mgshanks 1. Lowering the UKs emissions is futile, it doesn’t mark a difference for ‘global warming’ - our atmosphere is still connected to everyone else’s. 2. If wind delivered 30% of electricity and solar grew by 37%, why have our energy bills increased?

Britain smashed more renewable energy records last year. Wind delivered 30% of electricity, solar generation grew by 37% & UK emissions fell to 54% of 1990 levels. More clean power means more control over our energy security, bills and our future.

@RachelReevesMP I don’t understand what the government actually does with all its revenue. The government rake in around £300 billion a year in the form of income tax alone, over £800 billion including all tax revenue. Where does it all go?

@RachelReevesMP None of your points make a difference if the cost of living has shot up because of the decisions you’ve made. You’ve raised taxes, you’ve raised public spending, you’ve put many more working families into poverty, record high unemployment. You guys are all getting £3000.

@Kdon0000 @Ed_Miliband Are you taking the piss? Energy bills have gone up by 50% in 5 years, Britain has the highest consumer energy prices compared to the rest of the world. 7% won’t cut it, why should it? How about the other 66% of taxes that should be instantaneously lowered to help people.

From today, energy bills will fall by 7% for families across the country. We took the decision in the Budget to ask those with the broadest shoulders to pay their fair share, and today we see the result of that. Vital cost of living support delivered by this government.

@Ed_Miliband Why don’t you cut the costs of the tax you put into consumers bills. (66%) Why don’t you start up drilling again in the North Sea so you can profiteer from global markets instead of feeding off of the British tax payer to go after your gaslit dreams.
