Attended Conservation Minnesota meeting this morning with 6 legislators on Water Gremlin and TCE chemical hazards. Applaud local residents of White Bear Township and other communities for their grass root efforts to raise awareness of and confront this unacceptable situation

Grass Lake today is actually an ‘over flooded’ wetland. This is not its natural state. We have too much water. As commissioner I hope to work with Larry Swope and Diane Ward of the Ramsey Washington watershed district to resolve. Glad for their efforts and update this morning

Attended the White Bear Township board meeting this evening. Appreciated their position of support for the MPCA and area residents and their disappointment/frustration with Water Gremlin. A statement will be forthcoming. Good to see public entities working together, not fighting

Just met with members of St. Paul Area Chamber of Commerce. Economic development in Ramsey County lags and Riverplace is one prime opportunity with delays. We need to move forward. Same with Rice Creek Commons in Arden Hills. Ramsey County should drop lawsuit & honor agreement.

Attended county budget public hearing. Really appreciated Roseanne from North St Paul for showing courage and stating 'if you keep increasing taxes you are going to make me homeless.' Her heartfelt concern was appreciated by many in the audience

Large turnout for Water Gremlin community presentation by MPCA tonight. No trust for this company. Applaud MPCA and commissioner Bishop for closing down their operation. Water Gremlin’s non-compliance is unacceptable

This morning at the Slice of Shoreview parade these kids were all set for the parade to begin. Parades are great for candidates and public officials but the real purpose is for the kids whether they participate or they enjoy the benefits as these kids were ready to do
