People freaking out over this because they think it means the PL wants to let City off. That’s not the case. I’ll try to clear up the confusion… When PL clubs breach the rules contained within the handbook, the PL board must initiate disciplinary proceedings under Section W of the handbook. For minor rule breaches, the PL Board can issue sanctions themselves. For more serious rule breaches, the PL Board must refer the matter to an independent panel. As an alternative to having a hearing in front of the panel and arguing the case with lawyers, the PL board can settle charges “out of court” (so to speak) with the club they have charged. The settlement needs to be ratified by an independent panel for it to be valid though - so they are still involved. The advantage of the settlement is it’s a lot faster and cheaper than doing a hearing, where you have to pay big legal costs. However, the way the rules are currently written, the PL Board can’t settle breaches that include PSR breaches. Those HAVE to go before a panel and have a hearing. With the move to the SCR regime, this is silly because many breaches will have default, pre-determined sanctions. A costly hearing simply isn’t necessary. If the proposal is approved, a PSR/SCR settlement would still require an independent panel to ratify it. The reason none of this is relevant to the Man City 115 case is that it’s already been heard! Technically, the current rules do not prevent the PL and Man City making a settlement even now (after the hearing) - it would still need to be ratified by the same panel that heard the case. The proposal changes absolutely noting in the Man City case - it’s status quo.

Premier League is proposing to allow clubs to negotiate settlements over alleged breaches of its financial rules rather that seeing their cases automatically refereed to an independent commission, according to Sky News' Mark Kleinman.

@RandySTG @gianweb10 If you analyze all the succesful CBM movies from past 15 years, the best ones that clicked with the audience are isolated projects or wholr elseworlds/solo verse rather than shared nonsense (Logan, The Batman, GOTG 1&2, Iron man 1, TDK & TDKR)

Ok let’s do this! Every Pocahontas played by a Western / non-Native American / White actress. Let’s go! Thread time! 1) Pocahontas: The Legend (1995), played by British actress of French and Chinese heritage, Sandrine Holt

Imagine the outrage if a historically non-White character like Pocahontas were made White in a movie. Yet it’s considered acceptable to make all historically White characters non-White in movies. This is racism against White people.
