the whole point of betting +EV is volume one bet at +1% edge means almost nothing. do that 62 times and the math starts doing its job variance needs a large enough sample to even out. if you're only making 5 bets a week you're basically just gambling. if you're making 50+, you're running a process

Why generalizations like “I don’t take -200s or higher” DON’T WORK in Sports Betting… Because the price/odds determines everything. And the price changes. If a pick is listed at -230 but it should really be -450, you’re not gonna take it? That’s dumb. Sports Betting is about finding a disparity in WHAT THE PRICE SHOULD BE vs WHAT IT IS.

@cleanrodgers You're assuming that these billion dollar sportsbooks can't accurately set lines. If I see 10 sportsbooks set Lebron over 17.5 points at -150, and I can get it on one book at -110, im taking that bet every single time. The goal is to identify discrepancies in the market.
