It is with great sadness that we have today heard of the passing of James'jimmy'Howcroft. James was a true gentleman off the pitch and a fierce competitor on it! James was a current member of our masters team, and he was a friend to many and will be greatly missed

For everyone who may want to attend Si Learys funeral the service will be at St Austin's 11am on Saturday 7th January then on to Wakefield crematorium and on to The Travellers to raise a pint or two in his memory.

Unfortunately due to a frozen pitch our u18s BARLA Yorkshire cup tie against @HullDockers1880 tomorrow 11th Dec has had to be postponed.

It is with great sadness that we have today heard of the passing of ex player and Simon Leary. He was a great friend to many and will be greatly missed by all at Stanley Rangers ARLFC, Thoughts and condolences to all of Simon's family and friends at this sad time.

What a sensational game! Massive congratulations to Wayne and every England wheelchair RL player! You are WORLD CHAMPIONS!
