@RJFravel @ethantate Good reminder that you can never infer what would have happened in an RCV race from the final tally of a single choice election. Lots of voters hedge their bets and don’t pick their true favorite when they can’t rank. RCV also affects how the candidates campaign.

I voted today. I voted for a brilliant black woman who will make an incredible Governor. I won't say who because a) it is a tragedy of riches that we have two on the ballot b) Virginians shouldn't be in the position of having to lose such an opportunity for a rich man's ego.

Virginia Republicans chose their nominee for Governor yesterday:
Nearly 1/2 the voters had a favorite other than the top 2, but everyone still had a chance to have a say in the final pick.
That’s the beauty of ranked-choice. You can vote for who you really want.
