We should be in the 3A sectional at Hanover this year. Hobart is in the bottom 10 of 4A enrollment.
Every school in the 4A sectional is twice our size. 😔

Still so annoying that Hobart is stuck in 4A for basketball... Boys have gotten better in recent years while girls I'm afraid is a lost cause. Either way they shouldn't have to face Valpo or Chesterton twice a year.

IHSAA announces enrollments and classifications for 2026-27, 2027-28. Among the moves, Valparaiso and Merrillville will be moving up to 6A in football. Chesterton, La Porte, Michigan City, Hammond Central and Munster are the local 5As in football.

Talk about HCA… Feel bad for Portage who looked dominant to start the season but the schedule got a lot tougher into late January and later.
