@FlackJimmmy @vintagemapstore Bristolian accent says bath. Everywhere else is Baath as far as i know.
English

@vintagemapstore Not sure about the last one. I think people in the SW of England pronounce Bath with a short vowel sound.

@AshtonGotBeats @SebastianAvenue Nduja. It's a popular pizza topping over here.
English

@SebastianAvenue Cus what in the world starts with a N that’s in relation to domino’s pizza in the UK.

@AliveNed2077 @TDM_Jesus @bruno_gelb @JustinWhang It's for if you'd like to take it home and freeze it yourself. Do steaks normally come frozen where you live?

@mr___topson @ShezzaIsBack Auckland FC in the A League is the professional team in Auckland. City are the amateur team that qualified through OFC.
English

@ShezzaIsBack So no single Profesional footballer in the team???
So what are they doing with their life in that country.
English

My graphic skills suck, so here's a thread instead.
The occupation of every Auckland City player:

Can someone make a graphic like this for Auckland City?

I cannot remember a player in history who was good and wore the #12 lol why did he chose this

@davidkn85 @E_I_E_I_E_I_O And now three years on the twitter admin is being a bitter loser, I can guarantee you most gasheads do not think about Northampton that often 🤣
English

@davidkn85 @E_I_E_I_E_I_O The context is we won one of the most dramatic promotions in history 7-0 to get promoted on goals scored. We had no control over scunthorpe's team sheet. Cobblers fans called it a fixed game for months and the team complained to the EFL. Of course Gas fans gave them some stick!
English

If Luton go down on Saturday I’d hope my club wouldn’t tweet anything similar, and that’s a local rivalry. People’s lives are affected by relegation, jobs, mental health etc etc. this is classless!

@lardychap @revpaulwhite @JonnyValleyBoy What are weddings if not cultural? Going to a stadium with a group of like minded people to wear the same colour, sing the same songs, and celebrate your home city or country is not culture? I'm not sure what you think culture is...
English

@Rapt0rfeet @revpaulwhite @JonnyValleyBoy I’m not sure the white wedding dress and the suit are cultural.
Sport is sport.
English

@lardychap @adamNE1993 @revpaulwhite @JonnyValleyBoy How are sporting events and literature not culture to you?
English

@adamNE1993 @revpaulwhite @JonnyValleyBoy That’s not culture to me. I’m thinking of the Spanish fiestas and fallas, local events. We used to have the biggest fair in Europe, there’s local things like the feasts.
Politeness and manners has gone to the dogs.
English

@lardychap @revpaulwhite @JonnyValleyBoy Football, cricket and rugby are played the world over. Wearing white at weddings, the 3 piece suit, to name a few
English

@revpaulwhite @JonnyValleyBoy To be honest I’d struggle to work out English culture is. I don’t mean what it is now, but culturally what we’ve passed down that hasn’t died off (well dressing, maypoles and bloody morris dancers)
English

@DramaAlert I dont really know soccer/futbol but would the ball count as an out if half of it is out, or does the ball have have to be fully out of the line to be an out?
English

@HunterBiden8 @billienotjeane @RivRem @SaladinoWRLD British people love cheddar and dutch people love gouda though! And OP said 'their own cheeses' meaning cheese types created by Americans. It's like if Japanese people think american sushi is bad and the American response being "the japanese mind can't comprehend california"
English

@Rapt0rfeet @billienotjeane @RivRem @SaladinoWRLD england, not sure about gouda im guessing Holland maybe?
that doesnt matter, the point is we've already replicated the ones that matter and the ones you consider fancy are dogshit
English

@billienotjeane @RivRem @SaladinoWRLD its because Wisconsin only makes good styles of cheese like cheddars, gouda, and stuff like that. europeans dont respect cheese that isnt covered in mold and maggots and smelling like a week old corpse
