The “protesters” who invaded Cities church in St Paul today have one law: lawlessness. They illegally disrupt worship and occupy a building that isn’t theirs to protest the lawful deportments of people who have illegally come into a country. Their law is lawlessness.

Eleven years ago today, I helped plant Cities Church. I served as a pastor there for 8 years. This is a normal Baptist Church. They worship Jesus. They love each other. They seek the good of their neighbors. And the Left hates them and wants to shut them down, because one of their pastors serves his country in law enforcement, putting his life on the line to remove rapists and violent criminal illegal immigrants from our streets. The Democrats are the party of lawlessness, of cultural decay, social disorder, and death. It’s time for Christian boldness—for courage and clarity about Jesus and sin. And it’s time for our governing officials to fulfill their mandate and become a terror to evil conduct. They do not bear the sword in vain. That’s what our nation needs.

My little partner in crime. He was a little over 21 weeks old when I went undercover in four abortion clinics across Canada, and listened to the abortionists and clinic workers talk to me, sometimes for hours and sometimes in great detail, about how to terminate his life as a viable, healthy, baby. A few short months after these clinic visits, I gave birth to a beautiful baby boy. It's been two years of of planning both professionally and personally for my family in preparation of the release of these undercover videos. I'm glad this story made it to the front cover of the National Post today, and has been featured on CBC/ Radio-Canada and several other independent periodicals because my goal has always been to ensure as many Canadian eyeballs see this story as possible. We are what a disparate situation politically when it comes to the issue of abortion, and I hope the societal pressure continues to grow so this changes once and for all.

Canada is the only Western nation with no legal gestational limits on abortion (which means the law allows abortion at any point in pregnancy, even in the ninth month). The @nationalpost has now confirmed what Canadians were told for years was not happening: late-term abortions do occur in this country. A series of investigative videos from @RightNowHQ is finally bringing public attention to a reality that has been denied for far too long. It also raises an uncomfortable question: Why is Canada the only Western democracy that permits this? Around the world, the only other countries commonly listed as having no specified gestational limit are China and North Korea. Deep down, we know that late-term abortion shocks the conscience of most Canadians, so instead of confronting it honestly, we simply pretend it doesn’t happen? The women who undergo these hidden late-stage abortions are often left to face the emotional, psychological, and physical consequences alone. They cannot seek support without first challenging a public narrative that says their experience “doesn’t exist.” I am raising this issue because when we hide the truth, we abandon the reality these women experience. Not just biblically allowed; biblically *required.* Love for God and neighbor means you must resist the spread of public idolatry that dishonors the Lord and harms people. Half the Old Testament was written to rebuke God’s people for allowing and participating in such things.

You are biblically allowed to oppose immigration policies that change your country’s culture from this to this.

Voddie was planning to speak at our church this weekend, but the Lord directed his steps otherwise. (Proverbs 16:9). Tim and I came across Voddie soon after we were saved, and praise the Lord for that early influence!! Voddie's impact in my personal walk, our marriage and our family is immeasurable. He helped shape how we view marriage, children, discipleship, education, family worship, biblical manhood and womanhood, the relationship between church and state, cultural engagement, and countless other areas of life. He proclaimed the rock-solid veracity and authority of the Bible as the foundation for all of life. He was an excellent preacher and consistently put forth the beauty of the gospel of Jesus Christ. We thank and praise the Lord for his grace to us through Voddie’s ministry. We will miss his wisdom and his clear and faithful voice.
