This is a horrible, insensitive & unnecessary headline. It may be technically accurate but anyone who’s dealt with a family member’s substance abuse issues who sees this is likely going to cringe, at the least. How does this framing help ppl be more informed? Do better, @nypost.

When @dfriedman33 discovered a Goodreads page tied to the email of a top Pentagon official featuring books on “Asian wife sharing," he did what any reporter would do: ask the Pentagon questions. The next day, a threatening email from Jack Posobiec arrived. motherjones.com/politics/2025/…

Today Senate Republicans chose to pull the rug out from under millions of Americans. As families already struggle to afford this holiday season, so many are seeing a new price tag on their monthly premium starting in January that they simply can’t afford, to no fault of their own. Every person in the Senate chamber today had the choice to stop this cruelty. Senate Republicans made their choice, and it was the wrong one for America.

“They’ve all fallen in line behind Donald Trump and left American families in the dirt.” Today, the Senate rejected a Democratic plan to extend Affordable Care Act enhanced tax credits, all but guaranteeing that they will expire by the end of the year. motherjones.com/politics/2025/…

I'm SO SICK of AI writing. It is everywhere. Short, punchy sentences. "It's not this, it's that..." phrasing. Hyperbolic, alarmist statements. Spare me, all of it.

Can we make a collective pact to stop apologizing for being late (or “late,” as in within 2 days) replying to email? Life is extra busy in December, spam is rampant, and we are human. It’s okay to reply late, or not reply Love, Someone with ADHD who’s been there and understands

A few weeks ago, my dad was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. I won’t lie—it's been incredibly challenging for me and my family. Now, I’m embarking on a journey to answer the questions so many of us face when it comes to providing care for our loved ones. I hope you’ll join me.

Trump was expecting to be paid back for this pardon, likely because he’s been paid back for his other pardons. So what did he get in exchange for pardoning the crypto billionaire, the notorious drug trafficker, and the private equity fraudster?
MeidasTouch@MeidasTouch

Trump rages that Henry Cuellar didn’t pay him back for a pardon by switching parties, blasting Cuellar for a “lack of LOYALTY.” In other words, Trump admits he was trying to use his pardon power to buy Republicans a House seat.
