For those who don’t know The Simpsons Movie in Japan replaced all their original JP VA’s with newer ones which stirred some controversy within the fandom, even Koichi Yamadera said on his blog 'it was a betrayal to the fandom'.

It still kinda crazy that despite the Netflix Baki anime being like a sort of sequel to the 2001 anime, tons of people were able to get into the series through that with no problem
