CAF recently stripped Senegal of the 2025 AFCON title after their walkout protest in the final vs host Morocco (they returned, won 1-0). CAF Appeal Board awarded Morocco a 3-0 forfeit win + the trophy (March 17 ruling).
Guinea now demands the same logic for 1976 AFCON: Morocco walked off trailing 1-0 to them in the decider, returned for a 1-1 draw, and claimed the title. Guinea wants Morocco's 1976 crown reviewed/revoked. That's the "south" part.
