Today, @elkeschipani, one of our NM fellows, presented her research project at the @MayoClinicNeuro sub-specialty conference. She discussed the role of neurofilament light chain (NfL) in the diagnosis and management of peripheral neuropathies. Although this is unpublished data, I can share that an abnormal NfL level significantly increases the likelihood of a treatable neuropathy. I’m so proud of you, Dr. Schipani!
